5 stars across the board for Selo!! I already know I will be back! Came here on a date and it was perfect! We ordered the sampler for two as advised by the owner Elvis who came around personally to meet everyone and then to ensure everything was going smoothly. I really appreciated the attention and he asked for feedback which further proved they care a lot about customer service! Service stood out to me because everyone was very nice and attentive and I feel that it's hard to find a restaurant who genuinely cares about people enjoying their time. The food was delicious. I'm glad we went with his recommendation because we got to try everything and the portions were perfect for two people- we even took some home! It's also pretty romantic place and has live music which is lovely to enjoy while at dinner. The meal comes with a free wine bottle but he told us we could substitute for anything else we would like such as different drinks or dessert. I would definitely come back multiple times and bring friends! He said it's a family business and everything is freshly made in the back which you could tell because it was magnificent!

10 stars ! Very delicious food and big portions. One of my friends did her daughters birthday party here and it was the best food experience that l ever had at a birthday party. Definitely will recommend this place especially if you love eating cheese!

My order was cancelled when it was already supposed to be at my place.. The reason for cancelation was stated as "out of the menu item". So weird they didn't figure out earlier that they were "out of the item".. So unprofessional!

Outstanding food and service! Authentic Serbian food. Cevapi are excellent, with kajmak on the side.

Wonderful Balkan food. This place certainly exceeded all my expectations. And I was born in the Balkans. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and pleasant atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I had a great time at Selo! We got the burek (cheese pastry), cevapi (sausage plate), stuffed calamari, istrian fuzi pasta with veal, and two bottles of white wine. Everything was delicious, and the owner and staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable night. The wine was great and very well priced for NYC at under $40/bottle. We can't wait to return, hopefully when they do their next wine tasting night!

Worst restaurant ever. Just disgusting.

A lovely Croatian restaurant! The Istrian gnocchi was incredibly indulgent. Soft and chewy gnocchi bathed in luxurious cheese. The burek was so light and crispy, baked to a perfect golden brown with creamy cheese filling. The cevapi was meaty and flavorful. I couldn't get enough of them! The Zito cake was surprisingly good. Not overly sweet, nutty, and creamy. Really enjoyed its sticky, soft, and silky mouthfeel!
