I only tried Vietnamese sandwich, veggies are not pickle enough, doesn’t have chicken liver paste which is the soul of Banh Mi. In conclusion, it’s not right place for ppl wanna try real Vietnamese sandwich.

I got the chicken banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee. The sandwich was decent but I thought the veggies could’ve been pickled a bit more. The price point is good… and it’s closer to my parents’ house, so I’ll come by again and check out other items on the menu.Other info: There’s a bathroom, but limited seating. Metered parking.

Nice little Vietnamese place. Their menu is pretty basic. They mainly serve grilled meat with rice, and banh mi sandwiches. My friend and I ordered one of each. The rice dishes come with cucumber, tomato, carrot shreds and fish sauce on the side. The banh mi has the typical radish, cilantro and carrots. The food came out really quick and was very, very fresh.Their prices are such a great deal too! Rice dishes are only $6.25 and banh mi starts at $5.25. They are located south of Queens Blvd. in a residential area of Grand Avenue. If they were in a location with more foot traffic, they would do way more business.

Food is yummy. I love the bread they use for the sandwich, it's nice and crunchy and the sauce is pretty good. Staff is friendly.

I was looking for some Vietnamese cuisine and found this eatery via Yelp. I ordered a few Vietnamese sandwiches, hot noodles (fish slice & egg), summer rolls, and a mango boba tea. All the food was delicious and the ingredients were fresh. I was initially a little disappointed that they don't offer pho or hot noodles with chicken but ended up being happy with what I ordered. The sandwiches are very close to the sandwiches in an eatery dedicated solely to Vietnamese cuisine. The summer rolls came with a thick peanut sauce, not the traditional vinegar based sauce. I'm glad the mango boba was not overly sweet. My parents liked the food I ordered for them. It's tough to order out for my father who while loves takeout, has so many dietary restrictions. I'm relieved that I was able to find something he could enjoy in the hot noodles I ordered for him. This meal included a little of everything and was done in a Chinese non-pho style. The staff who took my order was super nice and helpful. The eatery had a few small tables. Overall the place was kept clean. I highly recommend this place and am excited to try the beef ramen next time I'm in the area.

I've been coming here for years. If Joju is closed or I'm trying to go for a more affordable sandwich, this is my go-to Vietnamese sandwich. We ordered Taiwanese popcorn chicken, Vietnamese sandwiches, and bubble tea from here and they were all delicious. They also have rice dishes, noodle dishes, and other Asian appetizers. Orders normally take 15-20 minutes to get so you should always call ahead. I've tried the grilled chicken sandwich and the classic sandwich. I thought the classic sandwich would be more obvious with the meats, but it was not too different in taste. The meats were smaller portions than what you would receive from Joju, but it makes sense since it is cheaper. The popcorn chicken is delicious and definitely something you cannot go wrong with. The bubble teas are more affordable compared to the other spots in the area so this is good, too. I will be back as always.

This place takes forever to make a sandwich. They always tell you 15 minutes.. I order in advance when I'm on my way home and most of the time it's never ready.. not a bad sandwich, but definitely not the best banh mi I've ever had at that price.. there's a bunch of spots in the area that sell a classic for 5 bucks..also, I've had their noodles once.. I guess it's a hit or miss depending on the ingredients you request but the broth I had was so oily.. figured a "Vietnamese" based spot would do better but I just couldn't eat it.. just picked at the ingredients.. the place also looks like i could cash my checks there

The signature spicy hot noodle soup absolutely slaps. Coming from someone who grew up in a Szechuan family ;)

This small fast-casual style restaurant has a very simple interior, but it can be challenging to feel comfortable due to the bikes and restaurant supplies openly displayed in the dining area. The cashier may initially come across as standoffish, wearing a frowning expression, but we eventually got used to it and didn't mind. They were quite efficient and quick when it came to taking orders. The menu here offers very affordable options, and while you might assume they serve Vietnamese food, they actually present various comfort food from different cuisines (Vietnamese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese). We tried the signature noodle soup (3.5/5), which had a spicy and flavorful broth. It was topped with fatty beef and spam, and originally it includes a medley of ingredients such as tofu, cilantro, lotus root, beef meatball, rice cake, wood ear mushroom, and narutomaki. Unfortunately, the quality of the dish has declined. They no longer serve fried tofu with the soup; instead, they have replaced it with silky tofu. Additionally, the meatballs, which used to be part of the dish, are no longer included. The beef banh mi (4/5) had a rich umami flavor thanks to the marinade, and the pickled vegetables provided a good balance to the richness. The popcorn chicken (4/5) was crispy, juicy, and tender, prepared fresh upon ordering.
