I love this place!!! I haven't tried most of their menu items, but if you ask me what to get the first time coming to this place, it is definitely the Mapo Tofu. Their Mapo Tofu is DIVINE with a nice balance of flavor, heat & texture that you probably won't get anywhere else in Main Street. Then, when coming here the second time around, I would get their double cooked pork, followed by their Sichuan fried rice for a third. It is a BIT pricey but I promise you that it is worth it. Definitely check this place out when visiting Main Street Flushing.

Great Sichuan place. Chicago has amazing Chinese food in general and Sichuan in particular and this place is the same level. The fire-exploding kidneys were moreish and I loved the addition of red onion to the traditional wood ear salad.Service was kind and the place has a calming atmosphere when it's not busy.

Ordered the shredded dry beef and small hot/sour soup. Taste wise, shredded beef was as expected, good with plenty of spice but for almost $30, felt the portion was far too small. Hot/sour soup. One of the worst I ever had. Nothing special in terms of taste. $8 for standard small container but consistency of water (just horrible). Would not order again considering how expensive it is for the small size and the poor quality of the soup.

The roast duck tastes okay, but the portion is relatively small, about half a duck. There is too much sausage and fat.

Title: A Timeless Szechuan Delight Review: Our visit to this Szechuan restaurant, a staple for 39 years, was remarkable, earning a well-deserved 4 1/2 stars for both its service and culinary excellence. The double cook and sliced pork belly was a flavorful journey, perfectly blending tenderness with crispiness and spices. My wife's lo mein was a mix of seasoned noodles, vegetables, and meatloaf. The service was attentive, enhancing our dining experience and providing insight into the restaurant's rich history. We appreciated learning about the complimentary parking at the Skyview for spends over $50, a nice touch for future visits. Leaving with plans to return, we recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking authentic Szechuan flavors and a welcoming dining atmosphere.

Must try the spicy fried chicken and the fish in pickled broth. Delicious food, reasonably priced, and they also validate parking if you spend over $50.

Such a welcoming place. They helped guide us through the menu and their recommendations were perfect. Spicy cucumbers and the roast duck were amazing.

I really like this place. Second time trying today and the food is so special. Today we got takeout. The cumin beef with cabbage and the orange beef. Both were fantastic!! Will be back!
