Pretty decent flavors here. When it first opened there was more fishes in the big dish. As they are opened longer not as many pieces anymore. But it's still not bad place to come for food. Ambiance is fine. The service is sometimes not that good. Hard to catch the staff to get the check. The food comes out fast when you order on their app via the QR code.

We haven't been Taier since they opened. Last time was great. Even they are busy but food are delicious and “amount of dishes” was enough. We didn't finish all and pack home for medium size suancai&fish. Today we ordered large size of suancai&fish for $69. 99, We only got a small plate of fish. Compare this amount with this price. SO REDICULOUS! The second picture is a comparison, look the size with the coke drink and the employee told us they have 550g flesh of the fish. You sure? Alright, I guess you will say: This fish have 550g before they are cooked… Fine…

The signature sauerkraut fish is so tasty and delicious. However the other dishes are so hot and spicy, it isn't good for someone who can't stand spicy stuff like me.

One of unique Chinese restaurants you must try in Flushing!I really like this pickled fish! The restaurant has a novel setting and excellent service. The open kitchen shows the restaurant's confidence in the quality of its food! Highly recommend this restaurant! Finally, I must mention that the restaurant staff are very handsome!

The dishes are average, the portions are small, the pig ears are bitter, the service can be decorated, not suitable for families, only suitable for check-in.

Fish taste good, the other dish I ordered is a little bit below the average. And fish's portions are not that big. We ordered the largest size of fish for two ppl, and we finished it. It's supposed for 4 ppl. Based on the cost, I probably won't come back.

This place is a chain but the food is nothing compared to the one from china. It is decorated clean and nice but everything is poor. They were so cheap on the tissues, yes tissues. We ask for more and they give one bag... The food is spicy and of course need a lot of tissues. Moving on, the fish plate is more spicy than sour. The only sour thing i taste is when i bite into the sour veggie.Added money for the mushroom but there's little to none in there... THey didn't come to refill water. we look into them and then wave, but all (5) waiter, waitress were just playing and talking, facing each other... so yes this is my experience. It was so hard to get their attention.

I was excited to try the suancai fish and it was great! The fish was super soft and the broth was spicy and sour. it's their signature dish and there were a lotttt of tables that ordered it, for good reason! Their spicy beef with pepper is also popular and super spicy! Tasted spicier than the fish but also was delicious. the arctic clam with okra was fun to eat especially if you like the slimey-ness of okra and the crunch from woodear mushrooms. The glutinous rolls were perfectly soft and chewy, I had to get it since I love mochi! I liked the lemon tea with passionfruit - it wasn't too sweet and had the perfect tartness. They give you a complimentary cup of sour plum drink and it was delicious! Also a shot of yogurt which helped quench the heat from the sichuan flavors! The interior felt very modern and you scan the QR code to order (which was challenging at first with limited internet connectivity there but we managed.) the service was also very quick when we came on a Saturday afternoon. What we tried: signature sauerkraut fish (medium: 2 people) $49.99 stir fried beef with pepper $24.99 arctic surf clam with okra $16.99 egg coated glutinous rice rolls $11.99 lemon tea with passionfruit $5.99 Tsingtao beer $3.99

The pre-made dishes were brought to New York and sold for a sky-high price. The taste was so average and the portions were comparable to children’s meals. Some people commented that they tasted delicious and tasted like home. Hahahahaha. What a diversity of species.

The portions were surprisingly small. Three people had a large portion of pickled fish and four other dishes, so they were barely full. The baby cabbage that costs more than ten yuan is really just enough for a baby, and the shredded chicken is really chicken breast. I saw comments saying that the average price per person is 30-50, which seems very unreal. The average price per person must be at least 80 to have enough food. Tips start at 18%, and there is no 15% option. As soon as the bill comes, the waitress stands in front of the table with the poss machine and waits. I asked her are you waiting for me? She threw the poss machine on the table and left, ?... By the way, there is no non-spicy fish in his house, it is only suitable for people who like spicy food... Children can only eat the children's set meal for 4.99...

Great addition in flushing Tangram mall. I think for the location and clientele this is wonderful. The portion and taste of the spicy fish stew is indeed perfect. I went just for that and got exactly that consistent taste. Friendly staff and better service compare to other restaurants inside the mall. Little nice details in providing nicer tea and little game on the table puts this ahead of other places in Tangram.

The environment and service are good, but the food is so-so. The texture and taste of the fish were not as expected, and other dishes were also slightly salty.

Came here with my husband and grandma to try something new but even as people who do like savoury... I thought the soup was overly salty that I couldn't stomach and finish it. However, my husband must like salt more than I do because he finished every dish and was way more satiated than I was. I did like the dan dan noodles drenched in hot chili oil and the side tofu dish. Staff were incredibly attentive and really friendly so service is an A+ I guess point is.. come here if you have a very savoury palate or else I don't think this is your cup of tea.
