Chaap is one of the rare authentic dish in NYC that hard to find. I went to Tong with bellow expectations but got surprised when i tasted chaap. It’s not one of the best authentic but it hits the spot! Especially Luchi and Chatni, i still can feel the taste in my mouth. And their Chai is also another authentic flavored which won’t disappoint you. Staffs were very nice but serving foods took a little longer despite being not busy. Overall GOOD FOOD

The most consistent Bengali Restaurant ever. Their food quality always maintained a high standard. My favourites are the Beef Chaap Platter and the Doi Phuchka here. Try the lemonaid here as well, you wont regret

Best fuchka in town, and in a different level of taste than Indian paani puri.

Unfortunately, the long-desired luchi platter was not available. Fuchka was good but you have to mention how you like it- spicy/mild/tangy... the chotpoti was blant- they supplied with additional chillies and more "টক" upon request. Cutting tea was particularly strong- not like tea at other desi spots! Overall must try visit!

We got the chicken chap with luchi. The chicken tasted like it was overcooked and really old. Looked like it was cooked over a week ago. It was a waste of money.
Food cart turned tiny restaurant. They have about a dozen seats packed in tightly. We had the fuchka prepared regularly and one order of spicy. I didn't notice a difference between the two. The fuchka are these fried balls that were filled with chickpea, onion, cilantro, and shredded boil eggs. They made for a tasty snack. They were ready in about 5 minutes.
