Tasty cake, a combo of savory and sweet with a slice of mochi in between. Would recommend trying it out but need to leave at room temperature for a bit so that the mochi can soften up as it’s stored in the refrigerated section. $9 for 4 pieces.Very friendly service!

U Best Bakery truly stands out as a hidden gem for anyone with a penchant for sweet delights. When I ordered a custom cake, not only was it visually stunning, capturing the essence of what I wanted perfectly, but it also tasted divine. Each layer was moist and flavorful, blending seamlessly with the delicate, not-too-sweet frosting. The staff's attention to detail and dedication to their craft was evident, making the whole experience from order to first bite a real pleasure. This bakery is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in beautifully crafted and delicious baked goods.

$80 (FOR REAL??) for a dingy round custom made cake with extreme HEAVY cream and tiny portion of fruits. YIKES! will never buy again.

I visited the one on Kissena which doesn’t seem to be listed on Google maps. The staff were friendly and I ended up getting two sponge cake options: the tiger cake chocolate flavor and the original sponge cake. Both were good. Very light and fluffy. I do like the flaky nature of pastries at French style bakeries but this place doesn’t seem to have that type. But interesting options and not something you see every day in a typical American bakery. Overall not bad.

cake order reviewAfter reading a bunch of reviews, I decided to place a cake order with U Best. I called them first and the lady said she'll send me some pictures of cakes. I then communicated with her entirely via text and paid in full via zelle. She sent me a photo of the order receipt. I placed the order one day before. I chose the 6 inch butterfly fruit cake which was blue on the photo but I requested purple. When my family saw the cake, they thought it was going to be just a pretty cake, but we were all very impressed with the cream (light and fluffy) and cake (perfect sponge texture). There was mango, dragonfruit and cantaloupe inside the cake that were fresh. The best compliment was when one of my family member decided to have a second slice when usually they don't even finish the first! Highly highly recommend their cakes in general. Couple of tips:- I went a bit earlier than the pick-up time but they were not ready so don't be early.- The cake comes in a clear box that displays the cake and you carry it with a ribbon but they don't have a bag. If you are like me that would be walking around Flushing with the cake, I recommend bringing a bag so it is easier to carry.- They have more cake samples in store than what was sent to me so if possible, I'd recommend going to the store and see what they have.

Flushing Famous custard tart. Somewhat of a line to get. Will miss this place. Sesame cookie was super tasty too. Iconic place !

Their special rabbit cake is horrible. No taste at all. It’s like Chinese bread-馒头 plus cream. The cream has no any flavor. I guess it’s too old. They store in the freezer. The outside layer is dried out. Not worth the money. After I ate their yogurt , my stomach was not comfortable for a while.

A busy local Cafe with the typical selection and prices. However depending on "who" you are you'll be asked to leave as I was told you can only sit there for max 10-15 minutes unless you are a local senior citizen who sit there all day. I was looking at my iPad with still half a cup of hot coffee when the auntie told me I couldn't spend all day working on my "computer". 4 Stars for the coffee 0 Stars for the service without a smile... ;)

Flushing Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue intersect above the 7 liken train station to sell the famous Portuguese style custard cups going back many many many decades at this location. Goodbye !

I passed by and saw the cake displayed at the door and thought it was very beautiful, so I ordered the same one. A very plain cake: white background + a line of words, there is a circle of lace around the cake, that’s it. . . When I got it, the words were blurred and the lace was omitted. . . not a good experience

I have ordered cakes in many cake shops in Flushing. The cream in this store is not good, and there is too much cream in the interlayer and very little fruit. At the birthday party, 17 people (adults and children) said it was not delicious. If only a few people said it was not delicious, I would not post it. The photo is one of them without fruit (the other one has a lot of cream with fruit)

They are just randomly adding up their prices. Prices are different than what they have listed. Would not recommend the place at all. Go to somewhere else there are way more better bakeries in the area.

Everything is moldy. Still selling on shelf.
