What I love about Cool Beans is that it is quaint, small, and a relaxed environment. They usually only have one person behind the counter, but we've always had nice hot, fresh coffees (a nice selection, in carafes), and our food is always great. It's not a chain, and it has a nice hometown feel.You can also buy bags of coffee beans or ground. They have a nice selection.
I had one of the best bagels I’ve ever had here: the BLT on Everything bagel. Will be comparing all other bagels to this one from here forward. Crunchy, soft, plenty of bacon. Delicious!

Visited for lunch with a friend last week. You order at the counter and take your food to the table. I ordered the Adirondacker on an Everything bagel (off the all-day Breakfast menu) and my friend ordered the Orchard Apple sandwich. The bagels were very fresh, and we both enjoyed our food. I also ordered coffee, which I customized with cocoa. We ended up sitting and talking at our table for almost two hours (!!), and no one made us feel like we had to leave.
