This is by far one of the best place for a sushi if you want real Japanese food. Not a typical Sushi restaurant like most in the area. Rolls and sushi just have the exact amount of rice vinegar in them. There's not too many that are owned and operated by Japanese restaurant owners nowadays. The place is very warm and quiet which is the most ideal place to eat in.

The food was good not great. The service was polite and friendly. If you like smaller hole in the wall type places this one is for you. I would return for another meal.

Favorite Japanese in the Hudson Valley! Very warm and welcoming staff and we've always enjoyed eating here. We've been doing takeout more often due to COVID and everything is packed very securely.

I love this place I go here about like 2 times a month and every time I go here it makes my heart sparkle with love with the food and the service is beautiful.

Been to Hana sushi twice and it always hits the spot, the ginger is especially fresh and of course the fish as well. 5 stars.

I really liked the food especially the Christmas roll and spring rolls and they were amazing

Been eating here for years and never had a bad experience. I trust the chef/owner (Etsuo?) knows what he's doing and I always enjoy my meal.

Great quaint place for sushi and Japanese food. I usually experiment with different sushi rolls. Their sushi rice is seasoned to perfection. I get the tempura and plum wine is divine. Very genuine and caring people. Such a warm ambiance.

The cutest sushi place ever!! Really good, kind service and the food isn't too expensive, for a Japanese food in upstate NY it is very yummy and good quality!

Great for take out as well as staying for a meal. Dark, tiny, simple, but good food and service. We enjoy visiting there before going to a movie right across the street. Casual, and a nice place to get a nice meal!

With several errands on a Saturday, including a Graduation and no time to even eat at all, Hana was suppose to be a 'light' escape before meeting friends later for dinner. By the way- Hana- as well as other businesses are located in 7270 under one roof in the Hardscrabble Plaza. It's dimly lit nicely when you walk in to Hana, space is quaint- plus service was super friendly. My Tuna Naruto plating looked very nice- but the Cucumber ribbons weren't exactly paper-thin as I've had in other sushi spots and had to unravel most of the cuke. Additionally, my Sweet Potato had tons of rice and wasn't tightly packed. Hubby's Salmon and Eel Rolls had nice chunks of Seafood- but they were also loosely packed and most fell apart. I get the high rating and all here and seems like Hana can hold their own as the only sushi restaurant in town- other than Bento Sushi (I think). But I guess this is just how they roll in the boonies.

I thought I should write an update: I have been coming here for years now and this is still my favorite sushi place :) I like Hana Sushi because the chef is very conscientious about the products he buys - from dishes to the actual fish. I've been trying a lot of their different dishes and I really like their Udon Noodles and Tempura. But I still always end up getting some type of sushi. Anyways, if you are not comfortable with raw fish, there are plenty of cooked food items from the kitchen :) TIP: If you want to get in and out quickly, it won't be possible if the place is busy (which is often ^_^) But they have TAKE OUT :) If you have a large group, call in ahead of time and even let them know what you might be ordering; it could help with getting your food out faster.

Best sushi in the area! Service is friendly, food is fantastic. I have dined here many times and was never left unsatisfied. If you enjoy japanese food and specifically sushi, this is the place to go. Authentic sushi, made by japanese owners as well! Highly recommend

This place rocks! The food is wonderful, the service friendly and low key. If you like great sashimi and sushi and don't want alot for it this is the place to go in the Hudson Valley.

Hana Sushi is the best sushi you can get in the Hudson Valley, at an extremely reasonable price. Unlike most Japanese restaurants, the chefs and staff are Japanese. Whenever I'm in town, I make sure to stop at this gem as many times as I can!
