“We stopped at Annabelle's in Red Hook on our way to The Ozone on a rainy Sunday morning after church. We ordered coffee and three different pastries to try as well as some of the quiches. First, the quiches were delicious with lots of goodies. My favorite was the bacon and mushrooms. The filling is delicious and the custard is yummy. We devoured that! We tried the blueberry turnover and that was the favorite. The blueberry filling tastes so fresh. Get that if you go. The best pastry ever! Next we tried a giant fritter that looked like an apple fritter... but it's not. I was especially excited to try this but it tasted dry and stale. I was super disappointed. I took a star off for this. The pistachio scone was delicious and giant. Not so crumbly (which I like) with great flavor. My hubby LOVED it and he let me try a piece The waitstaff is very friendly and nice. We sat by the window in comfy chairs and I loved that.“

“Alas, shrinkflation has come for my beloved sandwich. I've been getting it mostly from this location, but have also bought it from the Kingston location as well. It was always good and consistently made. I would tell everyone they had to try it. That was until last week. I have no problem paying $15 for the bahn mi sandwich, I get that things cost more now. What I don't understand is why I paid $15 for half the amount of pulled pork. The cucumbers and pickled jalapeños looked enormous compared to the amount of meat. The amount they gave me used to cover one half the sandwich I used to get. Very disappointed, I'll have to try to make a copy cat at home. Sigh.“

“We have been here many times and had excellent meals; tonight's was somewhat of a disappointment. Our waitress was excellent and listened at the end of our dinner to our disappointments and provided desserts, which we hadn't asked for, but was very sweet. But the young staff hovered and kept trying to rush us and take away our plates, which we were still working on. We asked them to "slow down" the service. We understand wanting turns but we felt too hurried to finish. The salmon was overcooked and an unappealing small tail piece. The other dish--shrimp with beans--was too many beans but tasty. We will return and hope for the five-star quality we have become accustomed to. Prices are fair for the portion size and overall quality. We also probably won't come again on a Saturday eve when it is so busy, which is great for the restaurant.“

“The last several flavors on the menu are always vegan. My daughter loves the Darkest Chocolate, which seems to be perennially available. Would be great to see a larger selection of vegan/plant-based flavors.Their ice cream is on the sweeter side. Personally, I’d be happy with less sugar.Expect a line, especially on warm evenings.“

“This was our second visit to Miss Lucy's. We were here in 2021 , too. We had the PLT which was like a BLT but with pork belly. It had a nice sauce on it. We had it with fries. We share the same with a bowl of tomato bisque. It was creamy and tasty. Don't miss it if you like tomato bisque. The homemade lemonade complements it will. We ended with sharing mocha crème d'pot. The creamy top was awesome for both of us. I am not a fan of coffee so I didn't eat the bottom portion of the dessert. The service was good and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting.“

“The whole wheat Gramma crust alone makes this pizza a cut above but the variety of toppings is such a long list that it’s hard to choose! I enjoy the unusual ones they offer like eggplant and artichokes. The fried dough is a huge pile of fried to perfection bite sized pieces!“

“This place is great and I can't recommend it enough. Not only is the quality of food amazing but the staff and service have always been extremely friendly, welcoming with a non-pretentious attitude. This place is accesible for local Kingston residents, unlike some of the gentrification cafes that have popped up in recent years that cater strictly to tourists or recent, wealthy transplants. The prices here are actually fair- like it doesn't cost $12 for a breakfast sandwich with no meat on it- fair. Very clean and like I said, high quality taste in food. I always get a breakfast sandwich but their lunch options are great too. There is no better place to get a breakfast sandwich in Kingston. I love Fat Cat !“

“My gf and I have been coming here ever since we moved to Kingston from Syracuse last year and the quality has continued to improve each time we go. They have new menu items, the service is always friendly, drinks are reasonably priced (hard to find in Kingston), and the food is fantastic. 10/10 each time we go! We continue to root for their success.“

“Ummm, wow... I LOVE hidden gem restaurants, and this place is a hidden gem. Unassuming from the outside, the dining room opens into a large room with quaintly matched tables and chairs, brightly-colored vases, and rustic art on the walls. It feels like home... and the way Donna and Joe treated us was just like family. The lunch was incredible. The aptly-named 'crack sauce' delivered, a warm and spicy compliment to perfectly fried chicken. The apple slaw cooled things down just right. This will be our spot every time works brings us back to Kingston. Cheers!Kid-friendliness: The space and the staff are both conducive to children and animals.“

“We had the family here for the first time last night. We started with the Calamari and the Housemade Ricotta. Both were wonderful. Then our party ordered The NY strip, the steak frites, a pecan encrusted rack of lamb (a special that night), the pappardelle bolognese, and the Burger. Everything was tasty and perfectly prepared EXACTLY as we ordered. The strip was between medium and medium rare and a high quality steak. The frites were perfect. The pappardelle was fresh made and the sauce outstanding. The lamb was served with a chimmichurri and had 6 chops that were excellent. The Burger was a sight to see. It was large and pink and great. Then we had practically one of everything for dessert which was the end to a perfect night. The service COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER. We had one main server, Lily, who was professional and got everything right (Definitely ask for her) and a handful of other servers during the night that were attentive and professional. The kitchen is in full view of every table and was great to watch. The room was comfortable and the ambiance helped make the night special. Highly recommend this for a dinner you can count on as being one of the best.“

“My boyfriend and I went today for lunch and some drinks. We both enjoyed the Asian wings, the flavor was different and quite good. He ordered a burger (topped with pepper jack and avocado, and cooked medium rare) with fries and enjoyed both. I ordered a short rib sandwich with fries. The fries were freshly cut, my favorite! And the short rib sandwich was so good that I only offered him ONE bite of it. The rest was for me ?. We both loved "the heartbreaker" cocktail, enough so that he ordered one for himself! The owner, I believe, was very attentive, chatted with us and gave our compliments to the chef!!Very cute little restaurant. Very cozy feeling as well. Can't wait to go back. ?“

“was there for an early dinner last Monday with some friends. I started out with a bowl of pasta fazool, which I have always loved and it hasn't changed in the many years since I have last been here. Delicious. I love calamari and have it every chance I get wherever I go, and this was great. cook perfectly and nicely seasoned. I had their special, sliced steak with a blue cheese sauce that was again cooked perfectly and truly delicious. great! mashed potatoes and the broccoli was done right. I actually wanted to try to get back before the specials changed. it was that good.“

“Just found this place. Was looking for German place that served pork hock. Did not disappoint. Chef seems to have a heavier hand with salt than I do. But the beer took care of that. Overall, everything was well done. Will keep in mind if looking for German food.“

“Lovely little gem in Kingston, some of the best food around; and undoubtedly the best ramen in the area. The ramen is some of the best I've had In my life, which is not surprising given the clear passion of the owner. “One of my favorite places to have breakfast on a Saturday morning is The Hudson Valley Dessert Co. Connie and everyone at the bakery always put love into everything they make! This morning I got an egg and Asiago sandwich with avocado and homemade sausage that they make there! It was (and always is,) delicious! I got a cup of hazelnut hot chocolate to have with it!(Please forgive the half-a-sandwich photo. I was so ready to eat it, I forgot to take a photo of the whole sandwich. ?)Kid-friendliness: The staff are so sweet and very interactive with not just my son, but all the other kids who come in as well! “The hamburgers and fries are fantastic, but the cleanliness inside and outside the place leaves much to be desired. Also, the service from the blond girl at the counter could be improved. Next time, I'll probably just opt for takeout, as it seems to be what most customers prefer here.“

“Upscale pub atmosphere with very friendly and genuine service. Across the board the food is incredible - extremely flavorful and complex making for an exciting dining experience. The half chicken dish is simply unbelievable - in a class of its own.If there were any disappointments it was only because many other dishes performed so well. My tacos are great on their own but will not be the stars of the show. The maple ice cream is very good but a bit strongly flavored for the end of the night. We will return, probably many more times.“

“Miss Lucy's Kitchen offers an exceptional dining experience that begins with an exquisite selection of appetizers. The Roasted Bone Marrow, topped with a Foie Gras Crust and served with Shallot Apple Marmalade, Chives, and Grilled Bread, is a true culinary masterpiece. The rich, buttery marrow, complemented by the luxurious foie gras, creates a flavor profile that is both indulgent and unforgettable. Equally impressive is the Roasted Beet Salad, a delightful blend of tender beets, peppery arugula, sweet candied almonds, creamy labneh, and tangy balsamic vinaigrette. This salad is not just a treat for the palate but also a feast for the eyes, beautifully presented with vibrant colors and textures.Following these outstanding starters, the drink selection at Miss Lucy's Kitchen elevates the dining experience further. Their margaritas are particularly noteworthy, expertly crafted with a balance of sweetness, tartness, and the perfect kick of tequila. Each sip complements the flavors of the meal, refreshing the palate and enhancing the overall enjoyment of the cuisine. The main course offerings continue the trend of excellence. The Boneless Ribeye, accompanied by Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, and a rich Port Garlic Demi Glaze, is cooked to perfection. The steak is juicy and flavorful, and the demi glaze adds a depth of flavor that is both sophisticated and satisfying. Another highlight is the Tagliatelle Frutti Di Mare, a stunning seafood dish featuring Scallops, Lobster, Cod, and P.E.I. Mussels, all enveloped in a creamy Lemon Cream Sauce. The pasta is perfectly al dente, and each element of the dish contributes to a harmonious and luxurious seafood experience. The service here is prompt and efficient, yet never rushed. The waitstaff possess a keen understanding of the menu, offering insightful recommendations and answering any questions with expertise. Their attentiveness ensures that your dining experience is smooth and enjoyable, with every need met promptly. In every aspect, from the initial appetizers to the main courses and drinks, Miss Lucy's Kitchen excels.“

“Ok, I confess, I am a regular here since the food is delicious and nutritious. The salmon is consistently on point and their rubbed kale salad is delicious! Soups are incredible too. My DD loves the GF French dip, which is also always delicious. The real test was in their catering abilities. I had a party of 30 people lat Saturday and their food was outstanding. Their prices are very fair. We ordered a tray of grilled salmon which came with two sauces, grilled chicken with apples, green beans, and sweet potatoes. Everyone raved about the food! The real surprise was the size and presentation of Gwen's GF cake! Everyone said it was the best chocolate cake that they have EVER had, and it was gluten free! This is THE place to go for lunch, take out meals, and especially catering. We love Stone Soup and we will be back!! Thank you for your hard work, dedication to the quality of your food, and your customer service.“
“Love it. But! The Kingston/Lake Katrine location is closing to the public next week. ☹️ It will be for production and staff only. Wouldn’t mind working there! ? I just love the cafe here, big, open space, delicious baked goods. I really think this big cafe idea is a good one, but I understand it might not be the priority as production and staff is important, of course.“

“This place was such a gem. Our group came for breakfast during our weekend trip in Kingston. The hot drinks came in unique beautiful mugs and the food was delicious, with a lot of vegetarian options. I got a brekkie sandwich - the bacon was a little tough, but taste was good. One side of the cafe is mainly for ordering and then there is another side with seating - one long table that could seat a big group and a couple other small tables.“

“I love this place, the food and atmosphere is amazingly awesome, so calm and beautiful. I love the artwork in the bathrooms, I think the wall of locks ? is very unique and fun! The noodle bowls are so yummy! I just wish they would add more noodles because the portions compared to liquid/meat seem off, I always buy an extra side of noodles because of this. Nonetheless, it's a great place worth the stop!Parking: Park directly right next to yum yum in front of the closed bank, there's two openings with gates“

“Had an epic mother-daughter date night dinner here and it did not disappoint. We each found something we would enjoy, started off with delicious wings (the dry rub was incredible) and pretzel with dips, then could barely finish half our burgers and fries. They were cooked perfectly and came out smelling amazing. Sadly we had no space left for dessert, so we’ll have to come back again, but our server was so sweet and fun and chatted to us and told us about the Beer Club and other fun facts about the Dutch. Great experience here; cant wait to come again soon!“

“We were a party of 14 squeezed together in a small-ish restaurant - you know, when you worry about if there will be enough room on the table for things. Initial concern was thrown out the window and we never looked back. Rachel and Jessica watched over us and we never got a chance to ask for a water refill or have to hail them down for a drink order, napkin request, etc. They may have had eyes in the back of their heads and were seamless in delivery, without being on top of us. And then the food....we are particular, not picky. I got nothing. Not only was everything delicious but it was all cooked perfectly to our varying orders. This place has the best location in town but it relies on great food, service and a super friendly warm vibe. I tip my hat to them.“
