I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, and the service was exceptional. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality offered. While the food was a bit inconsistent, with some dishes shining while others fell short, overall, it was a very good experience. I would definitely

I've been to Marani a number of times and there's a good reason for that. The food is unique and delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive and the prices are reasonable. If you go to Marani definitely focus on the apps.We went last week with friends for a birthday, there were 7 of us and we came with appetites. No pictures but we got: potato and mushrooms, pelmeni, kubdari, adjaruli. For mains we got: chanahi and some skewers.Zero complaints, nice sized portions.Looking forward to going backDietary restrictions: Kosher

This kosher (under supervision of the VHQ) in Rego Park, Queens focuses on the cuisine of the Republic of Georgia. This is one of the provinces of the former Soviet Union. We started going to Marani several years ago. They also do takeout and we have gotten takeout from them several times. Both when we ate in and took out, we enjoyed the food tremendously. Its one of my favorite restaurants. The wait staff is very good and is able to explain the dishes on the menu very well to people like me who are not familiar with their cuisine. The cuisine has lots of roasted meats, meat dumplings and hearty stews. There are some vegetarian dishes but its not a vegetarian oriented cuisine. There are some smaller appetizer items but primarily its large, filling entrees- I wouldn't go if you are not hungry. Marani is not cheap but prices seem in line with upscale kosher restaurants. Their is a wine, beer and spirits list. The basement of the restaurant is a different menu. It offers several diary dishes- various types of cheese pies . I had one once - it was great. My only complaint about Marani is each time I go there this diary section does not have any cheese pies for sale.Parking in the area can be hard to find. There are some parking lots not too far away. The restaurant is near the 63rd street subway station. If you like trying new and to those of us not familiar with the cuisine unusual dishes, Marani is highly recommended.

Kosher Georgian restaurant located near the Rego Park shopping complex. Restaurant is relatively big and service was good. Prices are high though for what you get. Unfortunately they no longer offer the cheese breads. The sampler starter is a must! It was very good especially the eggplant spread, followed by the spinach and lastly by the green bean one. The bread cost extra though but worth it! The bread is delicious, fresh, soft, and chewy! The portions for the entrees are large enough for two people. Our entrees of chichen tabaka and salmon were disappointing. I thought they were a bit bland. For the price of the salmon entree, there wasn't much salmon. I enjoyed the fries in the chicken dish though. Would get the eggplant spread again but would choose different entrees or stick with starters.

Good food and attentive service. We had lamb chops and the lamb shank dinner...good sized portion of well cooked and seasoned food. Definitely get the Georgian bread!

One of the best places I've been to in awhile! Staff was so friendly and nice. The way they took care of the customers without you even needing to ask, service is top notch ! I cannot wait to go back and make this my usual spot! Worth the drive from bklyn! Keep up the amazing work ??

I’d say it’s a five star experience for the food. However, they should not be charging such offensively high prices for their dishes. I pay the same amount for restaurants in Manhattan such as LAVO. However, at LAVO, even they have cheaper options. Unlike this spot, you can expect to get an ALL-AROUND 5 star service in terms of service, atmosphere, AND interior decoration over there. If this restaurant wants to charge these prices, sure, go ahead. But be prepared to make sure it’s a 5 star experience all across the board. And saying this restaurant is kosher is no excuse. There are plenty of kosher restaurants in the area that don’t charge these ridiculous prices.
