Amazing sushi. Best in Queens by far. Uni and chef's selections are top quality. This place belongs in Manhattan. Downsides are the general area and parking which is non-existent. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious! The sushi was definitely fresh. Our favorite was the toro rolls. So decadent and mouthwatering. Will definitely come again

Amazing! My husband and I went here for dinner just last night. We ordered the Indian Pancake for appetizer and it was beyond amazing. And we ordered a variety of rolls to share and they were all so delicious! My favorites were the Spicy Kani roll and the Spicy Pepper Salmon cheese roll. We will definitely be coming back here! Can't wait :)

A wonderful spot that offers fresh sushi at an affordable price. Came here on the recommendation of other yelpers, as the reviews here have consistently praised this place time and time again and was not disappointed when I stopped by here. The majority consensus is not wrong, the place offers, great tasting, fresh sushi at a decent price point, with a beautiful setting, and if you're in the area, locally as well. For those in the Rego Park area this place should easily be a neighborhood favorite over the alot of other spots

Wanted to try Sai for a while and decided to order take-out this Mother's Day. Ordering ahead on their website was super easy and you do not need to wait until opening at 12:30 pm. I am a huge fan of just using technology to place my food orders without needing to call or speak to customer service. When I arrived for my pick-up it was all well packaged and ready for me at the counter/bar. Although it was sorta busy because of the holiday, I was helped right away. Ordered the black dragon roll, seafood tempura roll, yellowtail scallion, spicy scallop avocado, salmon avocado, ultimate toro roll, and two sushi dinners. It was more than enough to feed 5 mouths. Family and I really enjoyed the ultimate toro roll. Had some melt-in-your-mouth moments. All the fish was very fresh and they did not skimp out on the ginger (much needed to cleanse our palates between pieces). Side note* prices through my online order were slightly a dollar or two more than the restaurant menu they attached to my order - not sure why though. I'm looking forward to coming back to dine in. Highly recommend Sai if you're craving some quality toro.

Decided to finally stop by Sai's on a rainy night, hoping it wouldn't be packed. The restaurant has a beautiful, minimalist wooden theme & slightly dim lighting. The staff were friendly & attentive. The star of the show must have been the ultimate toro roll. It was so buttery & packed with flavor as it was seared with a spicy crunch garlic sauce on top. We also ordered the sushi sashimi for two & was pleasantly surprised how much food came with that combo. Each piece had a generous amount of fish & was very fresh. Also, don't forget to check-in for hot sake!

Consistent. Some of the best sushi in Rego park. Quick delivery. Fast and delicate service, what more can you want? Quality is a grade higher than everyone else. If you keep the bar high you will be in business for a life time.

Best sushi in Queens, possibly in the city. Super fresh, really creative, gorgeously plated. I've actually never been to the restaurant - only done delivery but it's always been great. I don't order it that often b/c it's kinda expensive, but it's def. worth it when you want to treat yourself.

I came here since I was near the area and based off of all the reviews. I really liked the service, the plating, the cleanliness, and the bathroom. Their service was so great, once you ask for someone they come asap. Not a lot of bathrooms are up to par, but this one was. Also, don't forget to check-in as they give you free hot sake. We started off with the garlic edamame which was so eye popping. I never had edamame like this before so I was impressed. I've just had it salted. For entree, I ate the sai sushi dinner which had 10 pcs of sushi and spicy tuna roll. The sushi was just alright, nothing amazing. I ate the spicy girl roll which had spicy salmon with spicy tuna, jalapeño and spicy sriracha sauce on top. Their dessert was pretty good - just need to scan a qr code for their menu. Off it we got the lemon blueberry cheesecake crumble slice. If you eat it with the whipped cream it goes well together. I was very amazed at their presentation for all of the food. It's like you don't want to eat it, so you won't ruin anything.

Sai is truly a hidden gem. I'm not a sushi connaisseur by any means but I've been to a variety of sushi spots in NYC and other places and I've found that most sushi spots in NY that I want to visit regularly either have really fresh sushi and creative ingredients (and the price tags to go with them) or more of a fun vibe but not so stellar sushi. Sai is the best of both worlds in my opinion because it has a really nice ambiance and fun, welcoming atmosphere and the food is also excellent. We had the salmon skin salad, ultimate toro roll and the sashimi platter. The salmon skin salad was delicious and the sashimi was some of the best I've tried anywhere. The ultimate toro roll lived up to the hype with a very decadent but delicate flavor. The sashimi platter came with yellowtail, salmon, baby yellowtail, toro, red snapper, super white tuna and tuna. The sashimi tasted very fresh and it was plenty of food for my husband and I. I also tried the Sai's Passion cocktail and it was like a sophisticated version of a pina colada. Can't wait to go back and try the omakase.

Maybe we went on an off night... we got some rolls and the toro special roll... all tasted ok but nothing stood out. I had high hopes based on the other Yelp reviews so was a bit disappointed...

This place is a solid 10/5 carried on the back of the ultimate toro roll. I did not walk into this place thinking I would have the honor of partaking in the most decadent roll of my life but here I am. We also got an overpriced chicken katsu that was extremely bland albeit crispy but that's my bad for getting anything else in the presence of this royalty of rolls. If you're in a self indulgent mood, get this roll. If you hate yourself and want to stop hating yourself for 15 minutes, get this roll. I would sell my firstborn for this roll. That is all.

Sai is a pretty great neighborhood sushi spot. The fish is fresh, the decor is surprisingly nice, and service is friendly. Located off Queens Boulevard not far from the Costco and other big box shopping in Rego Park, this place is a nice respite for shoppers who are looking to grab a bite. The sushi pizza was very good and the fact that they use sliced whole pieces of tuna and not the chopped variety was fantastic. The chirashi was also very good - fresh fish and well seasoned sushi rice. Our family also got a few rolls and they were generous with the fish as well as the soft shell crab in the spider roll. The Sai roll was also a nice choice - mango with spicy crab salad. I will say prices are a bit high for a neighborhood eatery (average 20 plus per roll and dish) but the quality was worth it IMHO. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

I've ordered about $500 dollars worth of food from here several times... although the sushi is a bit pricy, it is fresh and different from a lot of regular sushi spots we see around the city. Specifically, I've ordered the king salmon set, ultimate toro roll, rego park roll which is one of my favorites, ocean roll, wild king salmon which is different from a simple salmon roll, king crab avocado roll, spicy scallop avocado roll (another one of my favorites), triple salmon roll, sea dragon, Kobe roll, king's roll, and others. The fish is absolutely fresh and delicious. Even with $500 worth of food for 5 people isn't necessarily enough so I'd add additional items or food from another restaurant to fill up lol. But for utterly good and fresh sushi, I highly suggest this place. I come here mostly for special occasions to celebrate stuff because it truly is a treat. Cheers!!

Sai's ultimate Toro roll definitely lives up the name. It's one of the best things I've ever eaten. The toro is silky smooth, decadent, rich, and so delicious. The truffle and chili oil is what takes it over the TOP. I think about this roll daily. I dream about this roll. I tell all my friends about this roll. This is a last meal kinda deal. Their other foods are great too - I love their pepper beef which comes out on a sizzling plate! Their regular rolls are okay; they taste fresh but nothing too special. Service is attentive. Very nice interior design. But man, their toro roll is f*cking heavenly.
