“Smokey Rock BBQ provided a satisfactory experience during the Christmas party I attended. The atmosphere was festive and cozy, fitting for the occasion. The barbecue offerings were decent, with a variety of options to choose from. While the food was tasty, it didn't necessarily wow me. The brisket was tender and season pretty well. Service was adequate, it was family style and the staff was on top of drinks and clearing. Overall, it was a pleasant enough experience for a holiday gathering, but nothing particularly memorable.“

“Laid back atmosphere with good music and a good selection of brews. I went on $5 draft Monday and that is a great value. Got the Kaaterskill IPA and the red IPA (can't remember the name), sampled the Juniper Ridge and ended up leaving with a 4 pack of it. Many restaurants within walking distance as well so you don't have to go far to get a good meal after your visit“
“Stopped in here on a Wednesday around 12:30PM when I was just passing by the city. There was only one other couple in the restaurant eating when I got inside. It seems like they have a lot of interesting options but I just went for a double scoop protein bowl of tuna. It was kind of expensive for what you got out of it but it tasted fresh and the pineapple miso sauce was really good! The workers were extremely nice and it was overall a good experience!“
“Good great experience at the original Mickey igloo. I always take my dog there after I bathe him in Port Ewen. I get a medium vanilla cone and I give him about a half a cup. That's his treat for being such a good dog while he was getting his It's so delicious I love soft, serve ice cream it's one of my favorite things in the whole world.“

I went with a friend of mines & she enjoyed her flight of beer/cider.Con: me & my friend got there at 730ish on Friday night closing at 8. The bar tender took our order as the last round and provided us with the bill on the iPad & paid. At no point did the bartender ask of we were enjoying our beer or if it was first time there. she seemed annoyed that we even showed up at 730. She didn't speak to us after providing the beer, she seemed in rush to shut the place down. I wish the customer service was better. With that being said I'd go again because of the quality of the cider/beer and the ambiance was nice was but not customer service“
“Coffee is great and food is always consistently good. Staff is friendly and the girl at the counter serving coffee has the best smile. They always makes you feel welcome. Place is consistently packed with locals and visitors. Get there early and get your seats before they are all taken.“

Unassuming from the outside, the dining room opens into a large room with quaintly matched tables and chairs, brightly-colored vases, and rustic art on the walls. It feels like home... and the way Donna and Joe treated us was just like family.The lunch was incredible. The aptly-named 'crack sauce' delivered, a warm and spicy compliment to perfectly fried chicken. The apple slaw cooled things down just right.This will be our spot every time works brings us back to Kingston. We are fortunate enough to have great sushi in Kingston and this is one of the best spots to get it. I recommend getting the seaweed salad with every order. “Was only there for a couple draughts as we hit them just before closing time. This is a rustic place with live music, bar games, darts, etc. But you go here for the beer. Keegan ales makes some great beer and the Mothers Milk is a favorite for years. Great neighborhood atmosphere. Outdoor seating when weather permits“
“We recently went to Jaeger Haus for the first time and we were delighted by our meal. I have been to German restaurants around the U.S. and this ranks among the best. And they have rye bauernbrot that is the real deal! I will try to return everytime I travel to that area. I strongly recommend it.Vegetarian options: While I am a carnivore, the two others in my party were vegetarians and these were very happy with the selection of items.“
“We went for dinner on a Monday, it was pretty quiet but it was early. Everything was excellent. We got the scallop appetizer, French onion soup, ribeye, and chicken parm. The steak was cooked perfectly, I think the mashed potatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had. But most importantly, get the Coquilles St Jacques. My gosh it was so so good. Make sure you get some bread to soak up that sauce. We’ve been meaning to come for ages, and finally made it. We’ll be back. Service was great, both the waiter (JJ) and chef Jordan were friendly and welcoming.“

“This place is foodie HEAVEN! Everything you want from a great restaurant this place has. Nice and tucked away off a main road. You immediately feel like you're dining inside of somebody's home. Gorgeous inside and outside seating. Changing menu always exquisitely thought out. The chef is always bringing new recipes/ingredients from places he travels to. This place is the best way to have a fine dining experience!“
