I've been coming here for years and I won't stop. When you want great Italian food and good service then you go to Joe's. Everything here is amazing, literally! I always start with a Caesar salad and I love me some fettuccini Alfredo so I always get that with breaded chicken cutlet. The penne ala vodka here is also delicious and pretty much everything else on the menu. You can't go wrong with this restaurant.

Quaint place, no parking but worth looking for parking. The eggplant parm was so good and it's not something I would ever order but it came highly recommended. The fried calamari fresh and not over cooked, the chicken parm was good too and I'm a sauce snob the sauce wasn't too acidic or sweet just right. The baked clams were the only thing that I would say was a bit dry. The desserts delicious! The place was very busy constantly through our entire time there. Good sign!

We celebrated my father's 89th Birthday this past February and I wanted to take the time to thank Joe's for the great service and delicious food. My father is legally blind and one of the concerns is always being in a comfortable, spacious and well light atmosphere. He felt so comfortable and the staff was so friendly and patient with him and he enjoyed conversing in italian with the waiters. It is a really lovely place in Ridgewood with good solid Italian cuisine. Still thinking about the warm bread and peppers in olive oil. If you are in the neighborhood and craving italian food, this is the place to go to.

I've been here a few times but, I would never choose to come here.. The menu is very disappointing. There's nothing exciting. And, they are not willing to make small adjustments . Not even a simple plain , grilled sole. There might be classic things. If you're going to do something classic m, it should be executed perfectly.. I didn't like their house red. It's disappointing, there's only one choice for Res Wine in a carafe. The service was friendly enough, but that's not enough. This is for someone who doesn't like change. It could be 1989 or 2024. The only difference is the price

You can't go wrong with Joe's. The food tastes like your nonna made it. Every dish on the menu is made with love. It's also good size portions at an affordable price. The inside of the restaurant may be underwhelming and small, but don't let that stop you from trying them. The service is also hit or miss depending on who's working and how busy they are.
