The food was just okay. The guy that made the food was very nice and friendly. I did find a piece of hair in my food after leaving but didn’t want to go through the hassle of a possible argument going back. Definitely got overcharged also but I let it slide. First time try but won’t be back.

From the moment I stepped into this hidden gem, I knew I had found something special. Over the years, my visits to this sushi haven have transformed from mere dining experiences into cherished moments of culinary delight. The owner's warm welcome and genuine passion for their craft have fostered a relationship that transcends the typical customer-server dynamic. Each bite is a symphony of freshness and flavor, a testament to the dedication to quality ingredients and meticulous preparation. From the delicate slices of sashimi to the intricate rolls bursting with creativity, every dish is a masterpiece. But what truly sets this place apart is the intangible sense of belonging it instills in every visitor. Here, dining isn't just about satisfying hunger—it's about forging connections, creating memories, and savoring the simple joys of life.In a world where dining experiences often blur together, this sushi haven stands as a beacon of excellence, reminding us of the profound impact a truly exceptional meal can have. If you haven't yet experienced the magic of this place, do yourself a favor and make a reservation today. You won't regret it.

Best sushi in the area! Owner is super nice and helpful and remembers you. He makes different, unique rolls that sometimes aren’t on the menu or you wouldn’t think to order so definitely have a conversation with him about what you like. The yogurt is really good too! If they did omakase I’d definitely try it. Just know the inside dining feels more like a yogurt shop than restaurant, but it’s still super comfortable to dine in. I’ve done it a bunch and also order takeout.

One of the best sushi places have tried, and affordable too. The sushi chef is super friendly and kind. I highly recommend this place and trying their unique combinations. The drinks and frozen yogurt are top notch as well.

A frozen yogurt shop that also happens to be a sushi restaurant is strange enough on paper that you probably wouldn't expect it the sushi to be particularly good. You would be wrong. Not only do they have excellent sushi, but the prices are pretty damn good.Personally, I've long had a test to determine just how fresh and good a given restaurant's sushi is that's never steered me wrong. I try the salmon: If it has more of a rich, fatty flavor, then you know you're dealing with high quality sushi. If it has more of a sweet taste, then it may not be BAD, but it's not nearly as good. Shogun Sushi is the former. And everything I've tried there has been excellent. They're also happy to make brown rice sushi if you'd prefer that. Since vinegar turned into a migraine trigger for me about a decade ago, I can't eat regular sushi rice anymore, so the brown rice option lets me continue to enjoy delicious sushi at places like this.I don't eat dairy anymore, so I can't personality comment on the frogurt, but when I've gone here with friends, they've always been high on it, the bubble tea, etc.Great, friendly service, too. The owner always remembers me even when I haven't been there in several months.Wonderful little oddball place with great food that I hope never goes away.Dietary restrictions: Brown rice sushi is available for those who have to avoid vinegar as, for example, a migraine trigger.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is at street level, chairs at tables can easily be moved to accommodate wheelchairs for those dining in.

This was the FIRST bubble tea place in the area. The place looks cool, the workers are friendly, and I'm happy to know a couple. I haven't tried the sushi yet,but the bubble tea is always the best.

I’ve been to a ton of different sushi restaurants and this is by far my favorite. The price is so good as 6 rolls in total cost less than $30. The sushi does not reflect the price as it’s better than places much more expensive. Not only is the food amazing, but the owner is so nice and often makes different dishes for us to try and they’re always so good as well.
