Got some food today, food portion good, service is what you get this can have more personality. Atmosphere is that of food take out place. That being said the food doesn’t have that Dominican flavor I would expect, definitely that homeland flavor. But everything is ok.

I hate watching them play with my food. Portions of food is not worth the 43$ we spent. One scoop of pepper steak for 19$ paid for a box of rice. Acapurria had No meat inside. Never again!

I will not be going here anymore. The portions of food is not worth the price. You are better off going to the hood where you can get bigger portions of food. I personally don't think the young lady behind the counter knows how to interact with black folks.

The food was okay but not for the price. Ordered skirt steak and shrimp and receive 3 pieces of shrimp and a small portion of steak for $30. Did not come with rice and beans like a typical Spanish restaurant only a small salad. Came with a side of Mofongo that wasn't the best.For the price I paid I could have gotten triple the amount of food elsewhere.
Walked in at 7:02 pm was denied service. The person behind the counter dismiss me stating they close at 7 pm even though door wasn’t locked, open sign was on and they had plenty of food in their food bar.

I went here b/c my husband discovered this place online. At first , everything seemed good, food looked good and the lady taking up the food was pleasant to rhe customers she was serving at the timeThen it was my turn, I placed my order (2 stew chicken, fish and fried pork, and 1 empanada.) I confirmed the pruce of the foos from the Menu and price board posted up behibd the food. As my food was being dished up I told the lady what I wanted(that piece of chicken, more gravy etc. ) The server immediately became annoyed and began making rude gestures and comments like OMG.I was displeased at this, O am patronizing your business and this is the service you give. No I don't speak Spanish, I watched the service she gave to the previous Spanish speaking customers......it was pleasant and professional My money is just as green as the next person. She then charged me the wrong price for one of my entrée. I made her aware of it and showed her the price on rge board. She totally disregarded what I sais and told me " no it's the price I charge you. " I was done, I could have walked out right then and leave ger standing with the food.However, I wanted to support a small business(I enjoyall kinds of foods from various cultures)........NEVER AGAIN. Furthermore, the young lady help her was wearing no gloves and she was coughing. I WILL NOT be back here. The service is mediocre if you are not HISPANIC. Not my kind of restaurant. I pay for service, not food. You give me great service and not good food I will certainly cone back. You give me alright or bad food and BAD SERVICE........I NEVER COME BACK.

Tried the roasted chicken ? with yellow rice ? didn’t have high expectations but once I picked up the chicken ? and felt the texture and flavor I kinda fell in love with the food here today was my first time trying it and if I had someone special I would definitely recommend this place rice 9/10 could use a pinch of spice but the chicken is 10/10 and over all the meal was a 9.9/10 and I highly recommended my fellow Rochester people to try this place honestly . That had Cold PINEAPPLE ? GOYA SO U KNOW IT WAS DELICIOUS. But I sad when they said they sold outa ribs but I’ll be back for those don’t worry ??? love this new food spot I found tbh .Vegetarian options: Asked for some vegetables and was given some on my rice ? love the hospitality in this establishment .

I have returned twice because I really enjoy the food. The gentleman cooking does a very nice job. Empanadas were soso but overall I was a pleased customer
