As a Rochester native, I can't say I have an extensive list of Mediterranean restaurants that I would recommend. Babylon Restaurant, however, would be at the top of that list. First, the food was absolutely delicious. Ordered the Chicken Shawarma sandwich, the Greek Salad, and the Baklava and would highly recommend eaxh. You can tell are the ingredients were fresh and the food was prepared very quickly. The Baklava was probably the best I ever had. The service was great as well. The worker who took are order helped us look through the menu and gave recommendations. After eating our meal, they provide a complementary tea service. I would say I'm picky about tea and found the one they served to be delicious. They also provided us with a sample of another of their desserts on the house! Not sure the name, but it was phyllo dough with a sweet cheese interior. Overall, a great experience and wish them the best of success!

I loved the wrap. Absolutely filling and tasty.Baklava had a lot of sugar syrup coating with negligible filling and no sign of pistachios. I wouldn't mind paying twice the price if they can make it bigger with adequate filling.

Love this restaurant. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and they seemed happy to work there.. i ordered a greek salad and it was colorful/fresh/delicious/large portion. honestly was the best greek salad i ever had! The lentil soup was tasty. The lamb was just perfect! The beef was amazing. They had vegetarian choices too. I tried all their desserts and they were YUMMY! The environment was cozy and relaxing. Everyone should try this restaurant!

They were so nice and welcoming! I loved the food since it was so well seasoned and the portions were huge, even for kid sized meals. Since we were a larger party, we tried a lot of the menu and it was all very filling and delicious. The menu had a huge variety of foods and we were all pleased, cleared the plate and everything, with our orders. The servers were so friendly and the restaurant is so clean.
