Had a nice lunch there. Spicy shredded beef and Sesame chicken both with brown rice and a delicious hot and sour soup. Fairly large portions and prices were not high. I've eaten here several times and had periods when I liked it and other times not so much. Based on our last meal we will definitely return. Service was also great.

The server was ridiculous, telling us how to eat the food and taking stuff away before we were finished eating. He further tried to tell my wife and I how to do the tip.

Had an absolutely lovely time here. The staff was very friendly. We wanted a whole fish and the waiter suggested to do it two ways- crispy fried salt and pepper style and steamed with ginger scallion. The fried style was quite oily and heavy but still delicious, and the steam style was very light. Just be careful because the fried fillet pieces have bones in them. Highly recommend the watercress stir fry!! The prices seem a bit high but with declining quality at Chen Garden, we’ll probably return.

I have ordered from here a couple times with no issues but yesterday, I wasted $23.00, I ordered chicken wings, and sesame chicken with fried rice. The rice was half-white and half brown, the chicken wings, the skin was chewy, and the flesh was tough (tasted like old meat), the sesame chicken did not taste right, almost spoiled. I called and the lady that answered, said we have had many orders today and no complaints, I am not sure if she was just saying that, but even if you had no complaints, here I am complaining, at least say come back, or apologize ( I would have gladly taken it back for her to see it), but I decided you know what I just won't order from there anymore and I tossed the whole meal, $23.00 wasted. I can't believe the cook allowed that food to leave the restaurant.

The quality of this place has skyrocketed over the last few years. Got some classic Chinese American dishes and they were all great, the Ma Po Tofu was surprisingly spicy and numbing as it’s supposed to be.
Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegetarian items available. Thai and Chinese are available in varying levels of heat and flavor.Parking: Parking is out in back of the restaurant, for pick up or dine in.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair available parking but two small steps up to enter the restaurant.

I had placed a large order for my company at 4:45 pm 11/21 for 12:00 pm pickup on 11/22. I had called to warn them ahead of time that I would be placing a large order online and had asked what would be easiest for them. I was under the impression that this was fine. We had ordered 32 individual meals and I had put the names of each employee in the comment section so that the containers could be labeled. I understand completely that this is extra work and a very time consuming order. I called again to to make sure it was okay to request the containers be labeled. I made sure to include a nice tip because I know it is a lot to ask. When I went to pick up the order, I got scolded by one of the employees for ordering such a large amount and requesting the containers be labeled. He blamed me for holding up all of the other customers waiting on their food even though I had called to confirm this was all okay. The food was great but I will never be going here again due to the way I was talked to. If large orders are an issue, they should put that on their website instead of scolding patrons who are willing to pay over $350 for their food.

Been coming here for a while and I'm never disappointed. I'm originally from NYC, grew up in Chinatown and my Dad was in the restaurant business most of his adult life. The food at Bamboo House is always made well and isn't "tourist" centered. The food is authentic and if you ask, there is a Chinese menu (with English for most of it) that features several dishes a Chinese family will likely be more familiar with. The staff are attentive and the atmosphere is calm and cozy. If you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine with a nice atmosphere, you won't go wrong at Bamboo House.
