Zero ambiance. Bright lights, tv loud, no music. Freezing cold. Asked if the beer lines were clean. When you get a sour beer somewhere else, it's a logical question. A older woman (the "bartender"), clearly took offense with the question - promptly pouring me a sample from the beer pitcher that is sitting next to the tap because there clearly is an issue with foam. Really? Pour me a sample from the nasty beer pitcher that's been sitting there how long? Ordered a beer from the tap. She pours a pint and fills it 3/4 full - no foam. An inch left, where the foam should be. Of course she yelled across the bar asking what I wanted to drink. Now everyone is listening for my response. What the???? There are seven of us at the bar. Six of us are freezing - wearing coats. I asked her to please turn up the heat. Her answer was "I asked the maintenance guy to fix it" - - sooooo, that means what exactly? Never fixed. People (families) walking into the sterile bar area because they wanted dinner. The "bartender" forced them to come to the bar to ask if they could eat. AWKWARD! How about notice them and greet them properly??? It's easy!! For whatever reason the dining room was closed. Families had to sit in the bar area at high tops. Really? I watched at least 8 people leave without spending a dime. They most likely went to MacGregors - right down the street. Management at the Radisson clearly has no idea how much money this bar / restaurant is losing by not paying attention. It doesn't take much to create a theme. Make it warm (literally). Put up some themed pictures. Throw some green plants around. Turn the lights off spotlight mode. Put on low music. Get a bartender or two that treats customers with respect.....and with a smile. You have a winner with Kelly the Chef. That's half your battle won. Jon Taffer needs to overhaul Baxter's. Nobody seems to enjoy working there. I left depressed and lighter in the wallet. Thanks Baxter's / Radisson Hotel. Sheesh.

Food was great service was great main bartender was training so that’s the only reason I give them 4 instead of 5.

Staff were pretty unfriendly and unhelpful when we visited. Need more training in hospitality. Convenient really only if you're staying at the Radisson Hotel and stuck there.

Simple restaurant in the Radisson hotel but food is excellent. I travel for work and often do not want to venture out after a long day of working. This is truly a hidden gem. I had french onion soup which was better than average. Nice thick broth and very tasty. I had the eggplant stack which normally comes with spaghetti and pesto.

I chose to have fresh garden vegetables which were locally grown and my eggplant stack. Eggplant was slightly breaded crispy and delicious. Fresh vegetables were as if they just picked them out of their local garden. I was pleasantly surprised and I highly recommend. I look forward to coming back and try and other options on their menu.

Boy have they stepped up! Product quality, portions, and flavor were really good! Cook is on point! Great bartender guy too. I was happy they had crown royal, tullamore dew, and Jameson. Well made drinks. We split an order of chicken fingers dipped in buffalo sauce with fries. Absolutely delish! Nice thick creamy flavorful ranch and blue cheese. Fresh frier oil. Light crisp fries. All white meat juicy chicken fingers with a nice balanced sauce. Our service was fast and friendly.

Horrible... I ordered eggplant stack and eggplant was not cooked and spaghetti sauce was cold and it tasted like canned tomatoes..

The worst food I have ever had. Ordered chicken wing, I can bearly finish half of it; ordered boiled cod, and I don't want to eat it anymore after one bite. I should have trusted the low rating on google. I never thought food could possibly taste so bad. Big lesson learned for me

Food is ok. Bartender has no initiative. Can't get waited on or get my bill. Standing around talking.

You are better off going to one of the close by restaurants..

Rooms are fine but the bar is a joke been coming here for years and it's really gone down hill since they let MoMo go. New bartenders are rude and have zero personality, no more pool table and no music.

In all my 50 plus years from fine dining to mom & pop establishments this was a 1st!!!!! As part of a group conference we had lunch, dinner and breakfast. *majority of table cloths completely wrinkled *salad was ONLY spring mix with a small amount of cucumber and cherry tomato garnish *No seasoning on ALL cold dinner buffet items (chicken parm breading bland/sauce: plain tomato paste) *dinner items over cooked to burnt *tables had dishes cleared but crumbs left behind on cloth *empty buffet pans for extended period of time (30 min) *server brought out HOT food with bare hands (indicating it was cold to start) *no plates available for extended time *pitcher water had a distintive metal taste

Expensive but good little selection . I had breakfast here. The eggs were made to ord er, so my hardboiled egg was slow, but it came on delicious home fries. My son's custom omelet was fancier!

Staying at the hotel and order a burger with onion rings. I was told it should only take about 10 mins but its been over 30 mins and still waiting. They must forgot and put in my order in late. But the crews at the Bar was nice.

I was staying at the attached hotel for work and since they offer a discount for my company I figured what the heck, I'll try it out. Well I'm not gonna lie, it was probably the worst food and service I have ever had in a restaurant! It seemed like it was the bartender/waiter's first day. He took forever to get anything or take our order. When he finally brought me a bottle of Yingling, he had grabbed a glass from the dirty pile rather than the clean pile. It actually had a little beer and foam in the bottom when he set it in front of me! Of course it took like 10 minutes to get a different glass. When that beer was done my glass sat empty for probably 15 minutes before eventually another patron who was grabbing himself a beer from the cooler offered to grab me one too. I took him up on his offer since the bartender was clearly not interested in getting it. Once he arrived I told him I had another beer. I ordered the baked tilapia with roasted garlic redskin potatoes. Probably took 35-40 minutes for the food to come. The tilapia was cooked correctly but was flavorless and had not been seasoned at all. Really a sad end for a lovely fish. The potatoes where clearly boiled and again not seasoned at all and totally bland. Since I had ordered roasted potatoes this was clearly incorrect. I asked the bartender and he offered to get something else. I figured ok they can't screw up onion rings! Well, they took 15 minutes because the cook burned the first batch! Seriously!? A 15 year old kid at a diner can make onion rings! Well when they arrived they where fine although I was beginning to question the cleanliness of the place at this point. Around the bar there are little bugs or something all over the ceiling and let's face it the place was dead so I doubt very seriously they're making enough money to adequately staff the kitchen to allow man hours for cleaning. Anyway when I was finally done the bill came and it was like $35 and I was like holy crap that's a lot for really sh]tty food and pi$$ poor service! Well turns out the bill was wrong, not really a surprise at this point, and didn't have the discount on either. I reminded him and he corrected it but the way they account for the discount is shall we say non-standard and without getting out a calculator and doing the math it still seems like it's not legit. If I had to go back in a pinch I'd go with something simple like a burger. My buddy got some kind of pasta and it was pretty much dried pasta and jar sauce a'la college so don't go that route. Maybe wings or something. I don't know, just don't expect much.
