I really love the drinks here. Bartenders are always so friendly and quick to serve. I love the dark lighting of the bar too with so many authentic decorations.

Tacos and margaritas were delicious. Just a word of caution: be prepared to pay $7.50 for one taco.

Nice place. Amaizing food. As a Mexican food offer, not to much selection of food, but the ones were very tasty. Alcohol was a varierity of coctels some good and others not so good. Atmosphere: place is pretty in the inside but music was not so good.

I've been to Bitter Honey twice now & it is pretty good food. The vibe is very dark and classy. Queso is 10/10 & their birria is very good. Margaritas are definitely good. However, service can be pretty slow when they're busy so if you are not a fan of spending a long time at restaurants it might not be for you.

Bitter Honey left me feeling disappointed and lighter in the wallet. I splurged on their tacos, only to find the flavors lacking and the portions disappointingly small. To add insult to injury, the Brussels sprouts were burnt to a crisp. The only good thing about this place was the atmosphere--the vibe was on point. However, the steep prices for both food and drinks left a sour taste in my mouth. Give this place a pass and save yourself the disappointment.

Service is great, but this is a bar, if you're looking for dinner this is not your place, at least not if you want Mexican food, this is American disguised as Mexican. The mole poutine (even tho is not mole) was good with a beer though. Also, if you want spicy this is not the place either, we ask for Jalapenio peppers and got sweet japalenios.

We went later in the evening, the food and service was great. My only gripe is the loud music, you cannot hear the person sitting across from you. They kept increasing the volume of the music I assume to get people out as they where closing. I don't like when restaurant's do This. Been here a few times and every time has been fantastic. Good food, and good people.

Had a first date there the other night and the staff was INCREDIBLE and went above and beyond; not to mention the drink was delicious (I got the berry margarita and he got the Paloma) . Will have to try the food next time I go the bartender made it so comfortable for me at least being in an awkward first date situation!

Average experience and average food. I came with a group of friends and setting up a reservation was really easy, I just called ahead and they send reminder and confirmation texts. We ordered drinks, mocktails, a flights of chips, tacos, nachos, and the drunken shrimp bowl. We enjoyed our food but it was nothing spectacular. The service was friendly but we had to be more proactive with questions, asking about gluten free options, and how to split the bill. The place has a fun environment and a pretty big bar, but I'm not rushing back for the food. Parking: there's street parking, a paid lot right across the way, and a free lot down the street closer to the public market.
