Went here tonight for my first time and the staff were all extremely kind and greeted me with smiles :) The Pernil and empanadillas were so good and really unlike any other Spanish style food I have had in Rochester. Will definitely come back here to try all of their other options!Thank you!

If you are looking for authentic Puerto Rican food, you MUST try Carmens Cooking! It is a family run business and they couldn't be nicer. Daily specials are visible online and change daily... check them out, you won't be disappointed. Yummmmm! If I could give 10 Stars , I would!

This is absolutely my favorite spot in Brighton and one of my favorites in the Rochester area. The food is great and of good quality, the prices are fair and the family that runs this establishment are some of the most sincere and genuine people you will ever meet. They care deeply about their food and their patrons. I highly recommend this restaurant. I've been going for a couple years now, and my whole family and every friend I've ever taken here also love Carmen's Cooking. 11/10

I can't say enough good things about my Carmen's experience!! By my 3rd. call for pick up, Andy was answering with a very friendly Hi Marcy!! ! That just sets the stage. I have been immobile for over two months, and I think I might have starved without Carmine's! The food is wonderful, the prices are on point, and the attitude is genuine! I've turned a lot of people on to you, and I haven't even walked through the doors myself yet!! I will though!

Carmen’s Cooking is such a wonderful gem of a restaurant, I can’t recommend them highly enough! I’m 34wk pregnant and I mentioned to them that I was craving tostones when I waddled in for lunch today. They don’t normally carry them so I happily purchased their arañas, but when my food came out I was very happily surprised to find out that Carmen had made them special for me! ?? I highly recommend Carmen’s Cooking for their amazing authentic Puerto Rican food and their absolutely lovely customer service!!
I can't say enough......perfect food, great staff and facility. The owners are a GOD send for the Brighton community. Hands down one of the best places around. NOT to mention they go above and beyond to make the food more healthy than most Spanish restaurants in Rochester when they could make more money selling the scraps and skin from their pork.... yet you can still ask for then to save you some in advance! Amazing
