This bakery did a lemon raspberry wedding cake for my daughters wedding at belhurst 8/12/22 I have gotten so many compliments.We just purchased a cookie tray and 10 cupcakes for Christmas. These are the most moist flavorful cookies/cupcakes you will ever eat!

I have waited years to write this review because I really want to support women, small businesses, local businesses and gluten free food options. And to be clear, I still do, even here BC I still shop here! However.... If the food were completely wholesome (healthy & good for ya) AND I felt wonderful eating it (during & afterwards...), then I wouldn't have dared to mention any of the rest of this. It is neither. I recently attended an event where this bakery provided the cake. The sugar content was so high, I felt it afterward and the next morning (being the teetotaler I am!) I felt hung over! In other words, they use regular sugar and ALOT of it (there are no healthy options here in this bakery on any count). The staff are always rude and/or condescending. I'm talking about every time. They seem annoyed to answer questions and feign politeness. The latter I cannot emphasize enough. The pretending is painful. Look, I'm really on your side, bakery; I am certain there are enough folks who are kind (authentically) who would be lovely to work with. What else would be a lovely replacement in this bakery? Sugar replaced with any of the following (and there are more): Lakanto, Monk fruit, Xylitol, Erythritol, Yukon syrup, KETO options, stevia, anything less sugar, legume based flours, and on and on. The day is coming soon and I mean very soon where using white sugar will be a thing of the past (did you read Sugar Blues? Or any current internet suchness?!). The day is also coming soon when it will be just regular to purchase & consume a treat that is healthy & tastes delicious. The rest of us are simply preparing these delicacies at home now. And, yes, I do eat some regular sugar sometimes, not a total purist on any count. BC there are so few options for GF bakeries, then, sure, yes, go there when needed. You won't have any issues if your only concern is GF.

I am so glad a place like Donna Marie’s exists in Rochester! A completely gluten free bakery is such a relief for people with Celiac. I go here often and even had my wedding cake made by this bakery. Everything is so delicious and even my family that eats gluten LOVES Donna Marie’s. Thank you for everything you do!

I do not have Celiac disease but heard about this Bakery and stopped in and WOW. From the cinnamon rolls to the cupcakes and cookies and the frozen pizza shells, these recipes are packed with flavor. The pizza Shell I took home, put on my toppings while it was frozen as instructed and popped it in the oven and it was amazing! There are two locations, one in Penfield and one in Henrietta. If you are close stop in and pick something to try. You will not regret it!

The cinnamon rolls were the best I've ever had!! I also tried the chocolate chip cookies, snickerdoodles, the butter cookies w/ lemon, and the seasonal cutout sugar cookies. ALL of them were amazing. If I had to choose a favorite it would be the butter cookie. I could eat 100 of them! We are here from Washington to move my last baby at home into her dorm. The treats brightened our day in quarantine and knowing I can send my daughter gluten free bread, cupcakes, and cookies while she's in school makes my so happy! Imagine being a celiac in a new place with no car and no kitchen! Donna Marie's has made this grueling quarantine and this big life change bit easier and I couldn't be more grateful.
