I know prices have gone up but give me a break at this place. $6.99 for onion rings?? Our order was a hot dog, cheeseburger on a hard roll ( 1.50 extra) an order of fries, onion rings and 2 small drinks. $36!! I tipped $5 because we were the only ones there at 5 on a Saturday and I felt sorry for the waitress . The upshot, it wasn't that great. Too bad because I used to enjoy it there . No more.

I was excited to be back in Rochester and to have a Don's Original cheeseburger. Years ago, they used to be the best. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience this time. My burger was on a terrible bun and making it worse, the bun was soggy. The hot sauce also had no flavor and was not giving remotely hot. The onion rings however, were spectacular.

Food is very good, but paying $20/ Person is excessive for the type of food available. Right next door is a cheaper location with the same type of food. I would prefer to see Don's Original stay in business and expand, especially over its competitors, but for $1.40 for lettuce and tomato, $1.40 for cheese $1.40 for bacon, the prices add up. Unfortunately, this place is too expensive and I would have to recommend Tom Wahls or Bill Greys over this :/
Came in with large group of around 30 people. Staff was kind and on top of the rush. Food was amazing as well, highly recommend.
