Came here at 4pm, specifically for steaks. They did not have any for HOURS and by then im already full. So you get charged dinner price, but you only get the leftovers for lunch. Fresh food came out around 5:30 and was told “15 more minutes for steaks theyre marinating”Empty grills, empty everything, the cake i had to spit out because i could tell it was sitting out for hours and became that nasty dry crumbly stale feeling. What a joke to be charging people dinner and then “marinating” steaks so you cant serve them. Ridiculous. If they don’t make things right im going to ask my bank for a chargeback. Oh and service was mediocre, checked up on us maybe once and i had to get my own drink. She would just slide/throw the drink onto the table.Terrible birthday dinner.BTW ONE dinner & two drinks came out to $28.70So be prepared to spend almost $30 a person but pay for leftover lunch food. :)

We always enjoy the food there the staff is great the owner is super great and it's a pleasure to go there and be treated so well.We haven't experienced the negative things other posters have. Sometimes it's super busy in there and I feel that the staff works really hard to keep the place in reasonable shape, especially with the giant mess that some people make but everyone is really nice to us there and I like the food.

Edited to add that I emailed customer service directly, and they have not responded over a week later??♀️??♀️I’ve always loved Golden Corral, so when I saw that there was one in Rochester, we had to go. I really wish we hadn’t.?First, there are no trays to put your drinks on or even counter space to set them down. I was trying to juggle the baby and two drinks and get out my card to pay and asked the cashier for a tray since there were none on the counter (as there are at every other Golden Corral). She just gave me a blank stare and stood there, saying $56 for three people. Ok, no problem, but I need a tray to set these drinks on so I can pay! She never responded except to give me my receipt.The salad bar was awful. There was brown lettuce in the bowl. The cauliflower was all covered with black dots. The onions smelled bad and were translucent, definitely not fresh, and the ranch tasted off.There were no taco shells, but all the fixings were there.There were no baked potatoes, a Golden Corral staple.The rolls, which are one of the reasons I love GC, were hard and chewy.The fried chicken looked and tasted as if it had been cooked the day before and reheated in old grease.The steamed broccoli had an odd taste, and the cheese sauce was jellied.The mashed potatoes, meatloaf and pot roast were decent, but they weren’t the usual quality. The fried fish was good.There was no pizza or fried shrimp, both staples of GC.There was also no steak at the grill.The chicken in gravy was just plain gross.The tables are too short for the booth seats, so there’s very little elbow room. Not that it really mattered since there was very little edible food.In short, if this had been my first experience with GC, I’d never go back. As it is, we wasted $60, just to leave and go to McDonald’s to get something we all could eat! If they can’t do better than this, they need to close their doors!

have tried this location twice. both times half hour first time and 20 minutes 2nd for silverware. first time was dried out old turkey and hard to eat veggies and cold. second time a month or so , again no one could get us silver. cashier told us to get it from server. which only came back once. finally cousin just grabbed a package from the to go pile of silverwareonly good thing was friend got help with ice creamSyracuse location, totally different experience.

This place has gone down, and I'm sadden by this because my family and I often take the drive just to go there. I get the inflation part of things paid about 100 for 4 people. But, what I can't get by is the long hair in cottage cheese, and the roast beef was very grisly. The table's in the area they attempted to keep all patrons at were dirty, sticky. It was overall just disappointing.

Cups were dirty should have left then, but really wanted to go to a good buffet the last time I was at this one it was great, today nope booths were broken, dirty floors, very limited selection of food for a buffet, steaks were hard, dried out and small, rolls tasted like plastic worst experience will never go back and don't recommend anyone else too
