Food is very sub-par for price. Can't justify spending $8 on a simple wrap (no sides or drink in the price) or $10 on a small salad. There is always a disorganized line and service is often very slow. If you work in the building, it's definitely a good idea to call and order ahead, and if you're lucky they won't be rude when they take your order.

If i could give it no stars because it sucked. Out of alot of things on menu. Lettuce looking shabby. Why have specialty sandwich and not have the items for it. Manager always out back door smoking. Bring the real Sullivan's back

It's a bit pricey but the food is good.

Hard to notice from the road, but you'll keep coming back once you discover it! Crowd pleasing wraps, soups, and salads for your next lunch meeting. Far better taste, quality and nutrition than chain or sub-shop options (especially downtown). There is something for everyone at Grill & Greens: numerous homemade soups (mushroom barley, turkey chili, Moroccan chick pea...), inventive salads (couscous, barley, pasta, green), unique and standard wraps/sandwiches (pesto chicken, sundried tomato turkey, avacado turkey, greek), specialty burgers (turkey & salmon), and fruit/protein shakes. Or build your own salad, featuring Rochester's best salad bar. They will cater/deliver or create trays for pick-up. Also offering breakfast and coffee.

I go here at lunch time because there is ALWAYS beautiful woman eating from the mvp building. I guess they sell food too?

I sought this place out because I wanted a salad or fresh food option near my hotel. It was very hard to find (in the lobby of a business building). Surly staff, bad service, and semi-fresh food. Wouldn’t go back and they didn’t seem interested in my business anyway.

I went in for a quick bite and was not disappointed. I got the turkey avocado wrap and some soup. They both were really good. The customer service was perfect, they were helpful and friendly.

I have eaten here in the past, liked the meal and always got my monies worth. Today I called in a order for a veggie sandwich on rye. I was absolutely shocked at this sandwich mind you I didn't even open the packaging. This sandwich looked like there was nothing in between the slices of bread. I wanted to open it just to see what was in it but I didn't. I decided not to buy that sandwich and it will be a while before I eat here again. I understand portion control but that was ridiculous.

$6 is a bit pricey for a burger, but there aren't too many quick lunch choices nearby. It did look like you could get fresh salads and wraps too. The service seemed a bit disorganized. No indication for a first time customer where the service line begins for grill items vs sandwiches vs salads. The cashier couldn't keep up with taking money and phone orders at the same time. I hope they work the bugs out and succeed!

A perfect location for a charming lunch establishment. Too bad "Bill" had to sell the restaurant to new owner. Prices are way too high and the customer service stinks! Food is still great if customer service doesn't count. I work downtown, and I will never eat there again.

G&G is a solid 3.5 stars with glimpses of 4 stars. When they get it right, the food is damn good. Recently successes include the turkey bacon cheddar melt (huge & delicious), Ali baba wrap, chicken Laredo sandwich ( bbq with cheese & bacon). However their sandwiches & wraps can be extremely sloppy & drippy. A recent buffalo chicken wrap was almost inedible due to excessive sauce everywhere - it was a mess. The salad bar is fresh but the choices are limited & not very imaginative. A rotation of lighter / less mayo based salads would be great as well as different options for the salad bar. Daily specials can be very good so check out the board.

I'm staying at the Hyatt down the street and am in town on a diet. As such I spent about an hour searching Yelp for somewhere in this area I could get a salad. I came across the reviews here and heard salad bar and grilled chicken and I was sold! I walked over and the cafe is in the lobby of a commercial building, although that seems to be the normal in Rochester. It looks more like a cafeteria counter than a cafe or restaurant but they have an expansive menu with specials and a ton of soup options. However I'm on a diet so was there for the salad. You choose small or large salad and get 5 toppings, the toppings left a lot to be desired. It was a cold bar with the same basic salad chop ins that you would find at a pizza parlor. I got cherry tomato, cucumber, carrot and cheese. How much of each item you get depends on who is making your salad, on my large salad I got 3 cherry tomatoes and like 5 slices of cucumber with a TON of lettuce. I choose to add chicken, the chicken was in a hot bar kind of boiling so I had low expectations (but it ended up being the best part of the salad.) The staff was very very nice, I always feel bad leaving negative reviews when the customer service is good. I spent the entire walk back thinking about how I had just wasted $9 on a box of lettuce and would have been better off getting a banana and some peanut butter. After eating the salad, the chicken was really good. If I could do it over again I would have asked for 1/2 the lettuce and double the chicken. It seemed like a lot of people were going for sandwiches and soups which all looked good but I wouldn't go back for the salad bar.
