Great room, very attentive staff that were so helpful and cared about our experience. Loved the old feel of the room combined with the best bed I've ever slept in!

Staff is very polite but can't answer why there's no heat in the rooms or confirm if there will be hot water (there will be in 12 minute of running the water). After I left my room at 7, a card was placed under my door with instructions to request room cleaning, so the room wasn't cleaned and water not replenished. There's historic and then there's tired. This unfortunately is both. With some TLC this place would be charming, but need to get the basics.

We stayed here in early November and our first room was sad, just like a bad 1950's motel room and no heating on a freezing cold night. Moved to a much nicer room where the heat worked until the middle of the night. No hot water & we couldn't get the TV to work.Restaurant cold too, my fish was delicious, my husband's salmon was overcooked. We wish that our supercilious server had told us how big the "sides" were as we wouldn't have ordered 4, what a waste of food plus the fries were so salty I couldn't eat them. The young woman on reception was very nice. We left early in the morning just to get out and into a warm car....

I stayed in a bright corner-room suite on the third floor that was wonderful. The room had a bar with a sink, glasses, dishes, etc. Bath was clean. Shower is a bit confusing, with lots of sprayers; I used only one. I like old hotels like this that have a real metal key and lock; just like it appears existed for years. Staff was helpful. Check-in and out were easy. The Inn has a fine restaurant for dinner, but not breakfast.

From the moment I found we will be going to The Inn On Broadway, I searched it on the internet and excitement took hold of me. I was not dissapointed. We were a big group and were hosted in a private room. Food was ordered from a specially set up menu. This menu catered for everybody and was excellent. Every one of the four courses trying to be better than the previous on. The restaurant is not on the top 5 Rochester restaurants list for nothing. Treat yourself and go there.

We had a beautiful historic room. It was an easy walk to a lot of things like the museum and planetarium. The only negative we found were the water pressure in the shower and the not too hot, hot water and virtually no cold water. This was to be expected in a historic building. Parking was easy and right next to the Inn.Rooms: Check out the rooms ahead of time online. Each was unique and if you want a specific one you'd probably need to indicate it when reserving.Walkability: We never felt unsafe (even while walking in the dark), but some of the areas around the hotel aren't the best. We enjoyed walking to the planetarium and canal areas.

food is a big deal for an Italian wedding, every dish we have had here has been outstanding. The staff is very friendly and supportive as soon as you walk in you feel that when you meet Jimmy at the front desk. I had been planning our wedding since 2021. Everything I originally wanted and more was done. I bought so much of my own decor items and had left verbal instructions on how I imagined everything. Everything was set up based on that one conversation. I wanted to save as much as I could from our special day, our room was filled with our favorite beverages, food we missed out on during our greetings along with liquid IV packets. My flowers were nicely placed for my pickup the next day for dispersion to a URMC clinical location and family members. Our daughter loved the kids touch Amy and Danielle added to our special day. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and the updates have been beautiful to see under the new ownership. Stephen and I cannot wait to go back for dinner and relive our memories there we have made for a lifetime. Thank you IOB staff for everything xo

Would have been 5 stars if the room did not smell of cigarettes upon check in and did not dissipate with windows open the entire stay.

Extremely overpriced for an outdated room with ZERO extras. No breakfast, vale parking nothing. We checked in and were given no information about even simple things like Wi-Fi. We spent almost $500 and they couldn’t even spare a chocolate bar as a welcome gift. Location is sketchy enough that they have to cone off the parking lot to avoid unwanted guests. Room had repairs that were needed and decor is extremely out of date. Certainly not worth the money and for the cost there are much better options.

Wow, this place was not what I envisioned after reading the reviews and looking at the website. First of all we stayed for the weekend and we were clear about needing a quiet room for our special needs son. They put us in a room that had banging and dragging noise literally all night and they said it was because of the elevator. The room they put us in was at the end of the hallway behind the elevator in a corner with a bunch of trash. A laundry bin furniture they’re no longer using etc. When you look at the photos you’ll see what I mean. The shower was moldy, and the blinds that were hanging or dirty and did not close so forget about sleeping in on a Sunday morning. The furniture was banged up, which was the least of it. when we checked in I asked the front desk lady if I needed to make dinner reservations and she said now. Here we are Saturday night trying to eat in the hotel or staying in and they had no tables because we had no reservation! I would definitely stay at a larger hotel with a good reputation, and I would never stay here again.
