Ever since K2 has gotten really popular the quality of the location on Empire has fallen right off. The speed of service is horrible, the QR codes don’t even come close to what’s actually on tap. They keep posting all these new beers on Facebook that you can never find at the brewery. Quality of food and service is just subpar for the price you pay

Great food and good drinks

What happened?!? K2 has been a favorite of ours since it opened its doors. In the beginning, the menu was slim because they were new but the beer was fantastic. Going to K2 was a weekly visit for us and we looked forward to it every week or so. WELL LIKE THEY SAY, all good things must come to an end and IT ENDED 4/6/24. Went in for dinner/ drinks to find a menu which was completely cut down to less options than when they opened the doors. The beer seemed different. The food was dreadful. This experience truly came as a shock as I believed K2 was waaaaay better than this. The last few times we have come in, it seemed like it was in decline but we assumed it was the winter months and k2 is really known for their outdoor patio and summer vibe. But after tonight I’m convinced. The soggy food. The subpar beer and the staff have made k2 a letdown. The bar tender we had tonight looked like they just got done at the gym or something. (Muddy shoes, greasy hair and hanging out all over the place). There’s a cleanliness factor that should be looked into. I’m sorry to be rough with this review but guys, this is sad. I know you have the new place but that’s no excuse. Close this one if you don’t care anymore. We will always buy k2 beer maybe at wegmans or on tap somewhere else. But as for the brewery in Webster, we won’t be returning. Sincerely, customers since you opened.

It smells very weird. Maybe it’s just me.

I gave them a one star, because I enjoyed the beer and the amenities, however, that is all these folks are good at. The food was subpar at best, and no wings on the menu of a distillery. The humongous, unwashed hair bar tender, grossly shoved food in her mouth from under the bar the entire time we were there. She chewed like it was cud with her mouth open. It disgusted me. This is the second time I have been here, and both times have been the same. I don’t want to put my credit card in someone’s hands when I’m going to pay cash, but here, they make you before they can serve you. I’m sure these guys must not know what’s happening in their own restaurant, otherwise they would know that the reason they never seem busy is because of the people they have working there. I don’t want to scan a QR code, I want a menu. I DO NOT WANT TO WATCH “Jabba the Hutt”, eat with her mouth open behind the bar. I don’t want to see the manager drinking at the bar, and watching “JABBA” eat in front of customers. I mean come on. Get it together. This could be a really great place, you have all of the amenities, but without good wait staff and bartenders, and reliably good food, why waste your time and money. You can contact me if you have any questions on my review, and I look forward to hearing from the OWNERS. I will reiterate what I have posted here.

Interesting, fun, lively place. Greeter was friendly. Both brands of Chardonnay were un-oaked, what's up with that? I know, it's a beer place, but still. There aren't any menus -- anywhere (strange). The poutine had a small amount of gravy and it tasted like pork -- it was pork poutine -- kind of gross. The smoked cauliflower was interesting. The rueben bites were delish. The outside area is very cool. Want to go back and try a flight of beer.

I'm a stout person. Not a fan of theirs. Way too bitter finish.

Favorite brewery in the Rochester area. Great selection and the heated beer garden is a no brainer for our family bunch dates in the winter. I do hope they bring back the old brunch menu though, the cornbread skillet was our go-to!

Lovely independent Brewery with a great kitchen! Outdoor seating all year round with a heated tent is nice.

Great vibes, beer and food. We each had a flight and all were excellent. Poutine and Cuban sandwich were absolutely delicious. Our favorite sour was Squish the Fish.

Have an out door space that doesn't allow dogs. Very out of touch with the dog friendly business market. Do not recommend.

K2 is one of our favorite breweries in Rochester! We've never had a bad meal here, whether it's the K2 Burger, Burrito or Shawarma Wrap, they're all great and the fries are delicious! The beer is even better though! It's hard not to get a flight every time we come here because there are too many awesome options to choose from. Their sours are the best but don't sleep on the jalapeno cream ale, which is underrated! They have live music occasionally and corn hole leagues during the summer as well. K2 is outstanding and highly recommended!
