Went to Mythology on a Sunday afternoon, there were zero people in the restaurant, we stood around waiting to see someone for almost 5 minutes. When we finally saw someone we we told that it's reservation only but she could get us a table anyway. We were sat by the window and given menus, the menus both had dried food on them, also my wife's silverware had food on it in the silverware roll up. We left after 10 minutes with no further interaction with anyone. Most reprehensible restaurant experience I've ever had.

Awesome place with great view of the canal. Serves halal food. The portion size was very good and the food tasted superb. Each of the dishes we ordered had unique taste and the spice level was exactly as described by the staff. Will definitely visit again to try more dishes. Recommended.

The food is extremely overpriced for not even being that good. It just didn't hit the spot unfortunately but I loved the interior of the restaurant.

Really great food, the sauces in particular are delicious! We also loved the Greekamole appetizer with the most delicious pitas. The servers were so nice and fun to be around. The setting on the river is beautiful. We will definitely be back.

The service was slow because they were " short staffed". The food was just ok. The lobster and crab dip did not really embody the flavor of lobster or crab, nor did it meet my admittedly own expectation of what the dip would taste like, although I did like the pita slices served with it. The pasta was not al Dente. It was overcooked. The chicken in my Chicken Aphrodite did not seem to be of great quality. With the possible exception of the drinks, nothing tasted worth the price paid for it. I am in no rush to return, although thelcatipn was great and had a good vibe.

Food was good. Service was super-slow. Liked the idea of Italian and Greek. The Flaming Saganaki was a good start. The fiery cheese was cool and it was very tasty. The Greek-style Kalamari was awesome. We also tried the Spanakopita, which we enjoyed. They ran out of the Grecian Feast- and we were The first to order dinner that day, So it was odd that they ran out of their signature dish so quickly. The meal was very good. The sausage was a Little spicy, but good. The ladies both ordered the Eggplant Parmesan and said it was excellent. For desserts we had the Baklava-which was very good. We also had the Orange Cake-also very good. Drinks were $12 or so, even for a mid-priced wine. Total bill came to $370 for 5 of us-expensive for Greek-Italian food.

Great ambience. Amazing view of the Genesee River and next to the new Riverie Cruise Boat dock. The food is amazing, and everyone was very friendly, accommodating and they ensured that our table was highly satisfied. Cannot wait to return.

Great place for good food, drinks, and views! Loved the artwork, and decor. Steaks were cooked to perfection, and literally every dish we ordered was delish. To top it all off, they made my brother and I's birthday a night to remember! Check this place out!

Can’t rate any higher (or lower) because we never got seated. We had a reservation, they were understaffed. Which is fine, that happens. But they didn’t apologize, basically ignored us and then served people who were apparently their friends. A table that had been sat left after they waited two hours (!!) and never got their food. Don’t waste your time on this place!

The owner/chef spoke with us as we were seated, and shared that they were only accommodating two reservations outside of a wedding reception party. We had really good food. Our server was new to food and drink. We had an incorrect drink delivered (in spite of pointing to the correct drink on her iPad order app), and while our food was delivered in a timely fashion, we didn't see her again until we asked for the check.

The chicken Aphrodite is out of this world. Great view with lovely music in the background. A place perfectly suited that melts all your stress away from a long day. Food comes in great quantity so it's also nice for leftovers.

We enjoyed a 4 course meal and it was absolutely delicious!! Lobster appetizer, Chicken French salad, Tomahawk steak and Berry Cheesecake and each was prepared expertly and presented with wine pairings. The chef came out 2 to speak with us to assure that we were satisfied! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and the drinks were perfect as well. Mythology will definitely be one that we go back to frequently!!

I initially posted a rating only without a written review and was shocked to see this reply directly from the restaurant : “I appreciate the review but hiding and not saying what happened means nothing.” In response to that extremely rude and unprofessional message, I'm editing my review to add comments. I gave 2 stars overall because it was just not good value for the high price. Check was $120 for 2 people with one drink each. Only one person was working doing everything - host, server, bar. He was very nice and did his best. But as a result service was slow, and when I first got there it looked like maybe they weren't open. Love being able to sit on the water. But the chairs were uncomfortable and the table umbrella was broken. Food was so so. Mostly it just felt so expensive for a subpar experience.

We love Mythology. The food is excellent and the service is great but this time was just incredible. The owner and chef, Jeffrey, came out to see us. My mother is Greek and speaks Greek so Jeffrey and she spoke a bit in Greek and we talked about the dishes that we had. We got the whole background on how he created Greekamole which is delicious, the right way to eat the lamb shank (which is amazing) and also how to eat the whole fish without swallowing a bone. Unfortunately, all of this came after we finished eating so we will have to go back soon. I highly recommend Mythology.
