I was kind of skeptical of going there at first but then I said let's give it a try. When we entered, we were surprised to see there was security there. That was a plus, it was warm, atmosphere was good, aesthetics were pleasant. We ordered our food and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised.. the meal was absolutely delicious. Best fish dinner I have had in a very long time, and price was comparable to other places.. that were not as good. While in town for the holiday weekend, we decided to research the best wings in the area, which landed us at Kandis's. We enjoyed a couple of beers while they prepared our carry-out order. The bar manager and owner were very gracious and welcomed us warmly. There is a cozy vibe with nice music playing throughout (Cardi B, En Vogue), in tandem, on television monitors. We had a couple of Coronas but it appeared the bar serves a variety of fancier drinks and cocktails. The bar area seemed like a popular place for friends to meet up and grab a drink and a "hello". There's ample seating in the dining area, if needed.
We can attest they wings are very delicious. We'll surely be back next time we are in the area. This is a warm, welcoming, and professional establishment - not just a place to grab delicious wings but it certainly lends convenience to do that as well.

Wonderful, friendly owner and staffThe food is excellent! I have had the fried Haddock, Mac Salad, Hush Puppies, wings.. everything I order is on point. The drinks are very good as well. The bartender has her specialty drinks that are so delicious. The establishment is clean, safe, and comfortable.
I ordered steak and lobster tail dinner. The dinner was so good, it put me to sleep.
