Extraordinarily rude DJ on 4/11/24. Approached her and asked about closing time, type of music she played etc. Immediate response was "It's $5 for a request". This is usually the kind of thing people say in a trashy strip club. I didn't even know if she had the song I wanted to hear but she kept repeating her charge. Before even knowing what song I had in mind she told me I was interfering with her work and to get away from her lol. I was standing in front of her table while she was on a raised stage. I ended up putting $5 in her tip jar without even requesting a song and she said, "I don't want it, get away from me..." Rudest DJ I've ever encountered in my life and the rudest person in Rochester, NY I've ever encountered. How can this person have a public-facing job? Please do not hire her anywhere. I don't even know her name because it seems Lux doesn't even promote Thursday nights or this specific DJ so she must really suck.

Awesome dive bar with outside area open all year, love being able to smoke by the fire even when it's cold out. You NEED to try a cheeseburger shot. Gets very crowded on weekends or with live music. Still a Rochester gem!
