There's a $10 cover charge for a dive bar. I assume this is because people go to the beach and don't buy drinks, which is definitely tacky. However they could just have a two drink minimum if they wanted, rather than price gauge.

Stopped in last night for a drink for the first time. Wish I had known about this great little spot sooner! I can't wait for the warm weather to truly enjoy the outdoor areas but in the meantime I'll still be stopping out whenever I'm in Rochester.

This is a FUN place. It's like going back in time - to 1960's & 1970's!! No one is a stranger there (even if you've never been). I still remember the first time I walked in; I made new friends within 2 minutes! The building is small; but during nice weather it opens up to the beach - right on the shore of Lake Ontario. Who's the clientel? You'll find some business owner that may make $2 Million a yr dancing on the beach with a retired janitor. At Marge's it just doesn't matter. Everyone is there to have a great time !!

One of the most amazing hidden gems in the Rochester area. A tiny bar, amazing beach vibe. Feet in sand. Could have used cocktail waitresses on beach due to number of guests. Useful info: $5 cover charge, no smoking on property, live music (check schedule)

This is an awesome summer time bar. They have live music most nights. They do not serve food here, but they allow you to bring in your own food, or even have food delivered while you're there. Just a really great vibe. Make sure you stay for the sunsets!Parking: There are only 4 spots in front of the establishment, I parked over at Bill Gray's and it seemed others were parking there, as well...but not sure it's technically allowed.
