This is by far the greatest restaurant in the Rochester area! We went to celebrate my mom’s birthday.The food was phenomenal, the atmosphere was elegant but felt like my guests and I were dining at the family table. The service was out of this world, their attention to detail, ensuring order accuracy, respectfully following up once the drinks/food arrived exemplified top tier service! I have 3 young kids who were at dinner as well and they have a very kid friendly menu which was surprising considering the elegant atmosphere. My kids are picky eaters and were beyond satisfied with their meals which is rare when we go out to eat! Having the Chef come out to ensure the food was to our liking was such a big plus, you can tell he takes pride in his food!Happy hour great, our bartender was so attentive to our large party while still delivering great service to all the other guests at the bar. Dessert was amazing- they have an ice cream peanut butter cake that was the best i’ve ever had! We tried one of every dessert for the table and there was not a crumb left behind.Portion sizes were incredible, I had the best Chicken French!!! I will definitely be returning and telling my friends to check it out!Parking: Being located in a plaza, there was a surplus of parking! Couldn’t have asked for much better!Kid-friendliness: There’s a great kid friendly menu!!! The servers are so kind to the kids and are able to switch from the “fancy talk with the adults” to “hey buddy can i get you some ranch for your chicken?”, they made the kids feel special and included by providing a kids version of the menu which is easy to read for school age kids. Options from pasta, to chicken tenders and fries was such a plus to meet my 3 kids needs! The desserts are also very kid friendly. I’ve been to certain upscale restaurants where the desserts are small & appeal to an adult pallet- but these were a win for all ages!

Outstanding food, great service. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The Twins make you feel like your eating with family. Our waitress Lisa is spot on from start to finish. The Cook even came to our table to make sure that we were happy. They covered all the bases .I HIGHLY recommend Michaels Valley Grill.

Michael's Valley Grill is a warm, welcoming bar/restaurant with a nice ambience, which is important to people like me, who appreciate subtle lighting over brightly lit rooms. The current owner and staff are friendly and attentive, professional but not stuffy. There are some booths in the dining area that are somewhat private, and tables with white table cloths that feel elegant but not overly fancy. Or, one can choose to sit at a table in the bar area. Tonight we chose to dine at the cozy bar. There are black board specials but honestly, the regular menu is diverse and with plenty to choose from. Today I had panko breaded chicken Romano with mozzarella and tomato sauce over penne and it was wonderful. Everything is good there. You leave feeling comfortably pampered after having had a unique and special dining experience.

Just had New Year's Eve dinner there with our friends and the meal was amazing. Our waitress was great and the owners George and Dimitri were very gracious and made us feel like family. I will definitely be recommending Michael's Valley Grill to our family and friends.

Our food was ok. Our server was fantastic, although she had to deal with a table of 10 who were VERY difficult with coupons, etc. We were kind to her because of them. One of the owners, Max was abrasive enough to where we were pursued outside to say we were in the wrong as we were leaving and our friends were still trying to patronize them. They were more than happy to collect our large payment but were terrible to us as we were leaving an hour plus later. We were embarrassed in front of others we knew and are owed a huge apology!!!!!

After we completed our dinner and our waitress thanked us for our kindness. We went to the bar to have a drink and were kicked out by an owner for "speaking to a customer". Had the nicest time with a dear friend , food was outstanding, I had the braised short ribs that literally melted in my mouth & my friends had the grilled swordfish special she said was one of the best she ever had ! Drinks were fabulous & the whole staff were exceptional!! Can’t wait to go back !!
