I loved this place. I worked here as well in 2015-16 as a student. RIT dinning Staff is amazing and helpful. Food is awesome!I will re visit it someday!

Came here for brunch on parent weekend 2023. They don't accept cash, which is legal tender. Also, flies everywhere, put cream in my coffee and flies literally flew off the containers. Go someplace else, Dunkin would be a better choice.

They filled my drink halfway and dumped cinnamon powder in the bottom and on the top. The photo is how it came, not with any sips taken.

I was feeling nostalgic so I thought I'd write a review. This place was my favorite back in college. Always got a black coffee and a chocolate chip scone to fuel study sessions. Keep rockin' Midnight Oil!

Midnight Oil is a part of the "We Proudly Serve Starbucks Coffee" Programme, and as such, almost the entirety of the Starbucks menu can be found here. They work fairly quickly and get orders accurateWheelchair accessibility: Almost all entrance are wheelchair accessible

Great drinks but the food is a bit off

Coffee is often burnt and wait times are long but otherwise okay

The pastries are okayish but the downside is that they don't have non caffeinated beverages.

They don't accept cash..what a joke.

It's your typical Starbucks type of place. It's pretty jammed during breakfast hours (lines typically go outside into Crossroads), but other than that it's clean and the staffs are very friendly.

Understaffed, but decent food for when you're on the run.

Why Midnight Oil and no open midnight?

My experience at midnight oil was quite unpleasant. Whoever is in charge of picking the ice to go in the drinks should be fired. The ice in the coffee is made up of tiny little pebbles that melt and completely water down your drink in just a few minutes. Other than that the coffee is pretty bitter. The employees are hit or miss some were polite and friendly while others were rude and completely incompetent. In the future I’m going to bring my bring my business to Beanz or a different rit cafe.
