Some of the best Italian food around for sit down or take out, they do it right. And that's saying a lot since they are in Gates, NY. If you're an Italian restaurant in Gates, you have to be good and you have to be authentic and this place is just that. Throw a dart at the menu and it's gonna be good and it's really great value for your money. They are priced well below their quality. You can't go wrong here!

Oh Papa Joe's, Papa Joe's...How can you not have Fettuccine alfredo??? And Homemade meatballs??? Other than that Its in the Top 3 Best Italian Restaurants in the Greater Rochester Area!! I highly recommended the Chicken French over Escrow although I get mine over the greens and beans Yumos! There food is absolutely Awesome! Salads are fresh, and again visit Papa Joe's you will not be disappointed PERIOD Again just add Fettuccine alfredo and homemade Meatballs and I will give your Restaurant 5 stars, Love and Respect Matt aka IceMan ?

No smiles from anyone other than the young kid clearing the tables and getting refills. We tipped him $ 5.00. Our waitress was older, I think her name was Grace. We were still ordering, and she walked away twice. I'm assuming she's been there since the restaurant opened. She gave two doddies if she was polite or not. We ordered 3 appetizers artichoke hearts, eggplant parmesean, and steamed clams. The only good thing we enjoyed was our salads. Eggplant and artichoke hearts were cold. I ordered chicken parmesean with gnocchi, and my husband ordered this biggest piece of steak and an order of tripe. EVERYTHING TASTED LIKE SALT WAS POURED OVER EVERYTHING. We had everything wrapped and took it to go $160.00 plus tip, which I don't think she deserved because of her personality. Unless there is an overhaul of all the food, save your money, and you'll get a better meal at Applebee's.

My family and I ordered delivery for Christmas, next thing you know we all have food poisoning. I don’t care how busy you are, my family and I should not be throwing up for hours on end just because you forgot to cook some chicken a little bit longer. Do better Papa Joe’s.

Sally was FANTASTIC service, friendly, accurate, helpful just pleasant personality. Chicken French always great, Pasta with oil, garlic excellent as was side meatball, sausage. Starter of clam chowder delicious and served hot. A wonderful dining experience as always.

I have eaten at Papa Joes many times and I always love it - but this past weekend was the first time I have used their catering service. They did not disappoint. We had a small dinner party of 13. Everything was ready on time and the food was delicious. They were able to accommodate special diets and there was enough for leftovers for people to take home. The price was excellent and the person who assisted in the pick up was very helpful and courteous. Will be using their catering services again!Dietary restrictions: Accommodated gluten and dairy restrictions.

Excellent food, extremely nice staff, I can't wait to go back. A friend that I haven't seen in months and I ate here last week. We were there for 3 hours and the staff were so nice and never asked us to leave ( that's happened to me before elsewhere). I am a picky person, and everything was perfect from start to finish.
Chicken Parm with Pasta is the best I'veever tasted. Great bread, wonderful salad.
