We booked a reservation for 7PM for a birthday dinner and weren't seated until 7:40. It was 8:00 before we were asked if we wanted water. The hibachi was delicious but that might've been because we would have started to eat the floorboards by the time it was cooked.

So much fun. First time taking our kids and they LOVED it. Food was really good and we left more than enough for lunch the next day.

I forgot to take a picture of my sushi but, everything was amazing. Except for the fact that the waitress kept bumping and spilling my drink, my martini was very strong! Our chef was funny and made our visit enjoyable! The food was seasoned perfectly, the fires were a'blazin, and the times were a'rollin!

Extremely uncomfortable. I had to wear my jacket and gloves while eating. Management did not reseat me to a heated area when I described my discomfort. May be ok when it's warm outside. I'll never eat there again. Help were pleasant otherwise.

Fun hibachi restaurant. We come here every New Year's Eve but you may have to wait because they are very busy.

I’ve been coming here for ~20 years and although the food remains ok the atmosphere and service are deteriorating. During the moment where the cook tosses rice balls my mother said she did not want to participate. The cook Jerry tossed the rice at her head anyway and it spilled all over her. She wasn’t even looking at him when he did it, and he proceeded to throw a second ball directly at her. Most of us ordered steak (at different temperatures) and the cook said “these clients suck” and was sarcastic throughout the entire service. We were his last table of the night but that is no excuse for how we were treated. The dinner was ruined after that. They never came to pick up our soup or salad bowls after the first course. Between eachother the cooks were swearing. We were looking forward to this dinner coming home for the holidays and will be reconsidering visiting in the future. No contact email online to provide feedback.

A bit pricey for what it is and a bit worn around the edges these days.Still , very good sushi and sashimi, but in less quantity than in years past.Still a solid choice but sad to see they are slipping a bit compared to what they used to be .

Delicious and a deal. Lunch special for 2 was only $55. That's not bad, considering they cook it right in front of you (hibachi). The staff was super friendly. The chef was very talented!

This is a fun place to eat. My choice for hibachi even though there are less expensive options in the area.

Plum Garden is by far my favorite place to get sushi and hibachi in Rochester. They have a wide selection of rolls at reasonable prices and the food is always fresh. The dynamite roll and the chicken cutlet are my personal faves. Give the tempura cheese cake and the green tea ice cream a try, you won't regret it!!!Parking: Parking is easy to find and the walk is less than an minute.

Hated it. Took my son for his 12th birthday. He never been to a hibachi so I was excited for him. 11 guest and we got entertainment. In the beginning the cook tried to throw rice into his mouth. No sake or nothing. Just a waste of $500. I felt bad for all the kids. I would've went to kobe
