Poke Sushi. Great food. Loads of VEG options. Extensive appetizer menu. House sake was strong. Service was excellent and surprisingly fast. Meal was well paced; seemingly broken into courses. Great atmosphere. Filled up fast. Fairly priced. Everything was fresh. Highly recommended - especially for Vegetarian/Vegans.

I have been going here for years and know the owners very well. The staff is very accommodating. I have never had a problem with the quality or the quantity of food. I would highly recommend this place. I commend the owners for their hard work.

The staff were kind and compassionate. The food is delicious. I loved the sweet potato roll. It was a great deal for twelve dollars at lunch. Two rolls and salad. I will be back again.

I love sushi, and this is my absolute favorite place in Rochester to get it. The location is in such a cute little area, the restaurant is a whole vibe and the food and drinks are second to none. If you’ve not tried Poké, do it! Also, their poké bowl is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Go get one!

It's amazing in here. I've gone twice and loved it. The only bad part about this restaurant is that it's street parking, which isn't their fault at all, I'm just not a fan of street parking.

Dietary restrictions: Chef refused to speak to me on phone or in person about my tree nut food allergy so I did not eat there.

Wow! Thank you! Such a great date night. I called early in the day on a Saturday and they were pretty full with reservations but I asked about coming right at 5 and they got us in. I wish I could remember the bartender/waitresses name, Jess I think?!? She was AMAZING! The entire place filled up so quick and she just danced around and was so pleasant! She was a whole vibe! The rest of the service staff didn’t come until closer to 6 and all the tables and bar were full. She didn’t skip a beat. She recommended my new favorite roll of all time, south beach. I also ordered the sushi bar salad and asked if we could get an extra bowl. They split it and presented it so beautifully! I wish I had a picture. This is also now my all time favorite. I can’t wait to get back. Seriously addicted! Thank you guys. We needed a dinner date and this was beyond what we had hoped for. Yum! See you guys soon!

Definitely the best date night sushi restaurant in Rochester. The cocktails are very tasty. Ambience is brick, red low lighting, perfect. Then there's the food. Large portions come with the bowls and soups. They have some of the more creative new school rolls out there.

Our first experience at Poke Sushi, a mixed bag. Delighted that the bar server brought us exactly the type of Sake we specified; cold, crisp and dry-er. Don't know if they were understaffed, but dinner took nearly an hour (although our server was attentive and kind). I ordered the Tentoumushi roll. It was rather bland, uninteresting and thin (for a "Chef's specialty roll'). Lacked distinctive flavors or contrasts of texture; mango was an ingredient, but I couldn't discern it. Only noticed a bit of cucumber, salty tobiko, and a gratuitous amount of sweet gloppy eel sauce on the plate. Tuna tataki: slices were miniscule, and cut so thin; it seemed like insignificant flakes of tuna over a lot of daikon floss. Again, not a flavorsome effect. On the brighter side, my partner enjoyed his Kobe burger, and thought his salad above-par. I like the friendly, hygge? vibe at Poke Sushi and will try them again (for sushi and sashimi) another day.

If you like sushi then you need to try Poke Sushi. Raw Spicy Tuna and Southie Rolls were easily devoured. Wasabi was pretty good. The Sake went well with the sushi rolls.

Our new favorite sushi place. We had dinner here 3x and had consistently good food. Service is terrific. Small place, so expect a wait if you go without reservation.

Absolutely love this place! Went with my mom one night and had the best sushi, and then again the same week on a double date and sat at the bar. Drinks were amazing, service was quick and the food was the best sushi in Rochester! It's a smaller restaurant so I reccomend making a reservation on busier nights. Or sitting at the bar was great too!

Definitely not up to my standard, as someone who is half Japanese. But people in Rochester love this place lol
