The most embarrassing moment last night. Catered my son's 16th birthday party for 45 people. We ordered Ziti, Chicken Parm, Potatoes, Sausage/Peppers & Onion. They sent enough food for about 30 people. To add to the lack of food, people were saying the food was cold. Wife and I had to ration what food we had left to make sure the remaining guests got something to eat. The catering menu states a large pan serves 15-20. With our deliver, they sent 1 Large pan of each. we should have received 2 Large pans and a small for what we paid for. THIS IS SIMPLE MATH!!!! Look at the numbers on your own menu....CUSTOMERS BE AWARE

Happened quite a few months back and I haven't forgotten. Purchased frozen clams cadino for dinner party. Thawed them out and noticed the package date was 3 months old. Flew over to Rubino's and Manager told me by buying frozen I was saving 1.00 per package. That's all well and good but selling such old frozen product was not good. I desperately and quickly needed to go with the fresh as my guests were coming over in less than 1/2 hour. So she tells me, no exchanges and I would owe Rubinos 3.00 more because the casinos were fresh. She didn't apologize, she didn't say "not a problem - we'll make the exchange", instead she made a BIG deal over the 3.00 I would owe her. I paid and bolted out quickly never to return. This "smart, savvy" buisness woman lost hundreds of dollars of my business for quibbling over a mere 3.00.

A trip to Italy without the air fare. Food to die for. Italian specialty items you can only get here.
Places like this are becoming hard to come by for Italian Americans and should not be taken for granted. This place reminds me of when i was a kid. As a Buffalo native, we have lost a majority or our Italian grocery store. This place has it all. Excellent selection of cheeses and cold cuts. I also was impressed with there panettone selections. Definitely a must for italian food culture seekers.
