Food was good. Placing orders and getting drinks was good but a table of 7 one dish came out at a time. One person didn't get her dish until almost everyone was finished. That wasn't nice . Other tables who came in after us got their food all at once.
Hard to find in this industrial complex area, but the food is great. Loved the pork

Best Korean in Rochester. Would recommend calling ahead though because they tend to get busy. They are worth the wait, trust me. The space inside is just ok but the staff are great and the food is even better.

This was my first experience with Korean food. Located in the Regional Market small place with maybe 20 tables and decorated minimally. Two servers available. First brought out 3 small bowls with a potato, seaweed, and kimchi. All were spicy, won't blow your head off but more of a slow burn. Went a little overboard on ordering with Shumai (fried not steamed), pork potstickers with a vinegary sauce on the side, scallion pancake available with a seafood option but our server didn't know any other additions besides squid. I opted for the plain, also accompanied by a pungent (definitely fish sauce) dipping sauce which was very good. The scallion pancake was the best I've ever had! Partner ordered dolsot bibimbob (rice dish with veggies, seasoned beef and topped with an egg. Tasty but the rice was 4 to 1 over the beef and a kimbob with crab which really was microscopic. The kicker was the Chef special chicken wings. Big mistake! These were brought out well after everything else and to me and my partner were inedible. The gojuchang was so thick and left a coating in your mouth. They were explained as sweet/hot but not one sweet thing about them. I would go back but not anytime soon. My partner really enjoyed his entree.

What a delicious meal!! Got mandu, pork gyoza, udon, bulgogi, side cucumber, and kimchi. Everything was so amazing I couldn’t pick a favourite. Can’t wait to go back again!

Not five stars, but Rochester's only hope. A place worth going to. If I give 4 points, it is lower than other places, so I give 5 points, but it is not the best. But it does the basics and is better than other places. There is a review below saying they sell water, but they no longer sell water.
I've been multiple times now, and it's such a great place. There are so many items to choose from. There is usually one person who waits everyone, and she's super quick. You immediately get water and 2 small cups. The water is cold and pretty smooth, so i enjoy it despite not liking water. My favorite appetizer is the mandu, which is a beef and veggie dumpling, and the dolsot-bidimbap, which is rice, topped with beef bulgolgi, a fried egg, and a scoop of gochujang on top. My absolute favorite, i can't get enough of it! I'll definitely expect to come here many more times! <3
