If we could we would give it zero stars, the service was terrible, the “miso soup” was not only cold but also very clearly instant ramen seasoning, the dumplings were inedible, and the soda was flat. Never going back!

Me and my bf went there for the all you can eat sushi. The service was great.. no wait time and they were very quick and friendly! The miso soup and the tempura were fine but the sushi was pretty bad. Definitely wasn’t fresh, as it tasted like pond water… I read a few reviews with similar complaints, and just like them, I tried a few rolls just to be sure it wasn’t just the tuna or just the salmon, etc. I wasn’t super upset about it considering how cheap it was but I doubt we’ll go back.

I’m not sure how so many people had a different experience than us, but I brought my fiancé here for his birthday and it was the worst sushi we’ve both ever eaten. Everything was VERY fishy and it didn’t taste fresh at all. I got to the point where I kept trying new rolls and hoping it was just the kind of sushi that was the problem, but I ended up feeling sick pretty quickly. The staff was incredibly nice, though! I hope it was just an off day, but I don’t think I’ll be going back again.

My group has been having lunch here for several months. The service is very good, attentive, and courteous. We have always selected the "all you can eat" option. It is indeed all you can eat. We have limited our selection to rolls but shishemi is available. Everything is well presented. The place is small and possibly hard to find. Allow ample time because to food comes out at a leisurely pace.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. Don't listen to those liars that say this place is bad. It is my go-to sushi restaurant because it tastes delicious, it's always fresh, look beautiful, and it's cheap! Although the wait is a little longer than usual, it's WELL worth the wait. Everyone know that's the best restaurants are the mom and pop ones with a kid doing their homework at a table on the back. This is an authentic restaurant. I come here all the time because the server and sushi chef are so kind and friendly. Highly recommend.

I didn't think there was a good sushi place in Rochester until this place. I'm a big sushi person- and I mean fish quality too. I can live off raw fish for life (pretty much what I did whenever I visit Japan). In all its dim and slow service grandeur, this place has the best fish quality among all the sushi places I've been in Rochester. Located off West Henrietta right by the Millenium Games place. So, if you have the time, this place is totally worth it for the 25$ all you can eat option. It's alacarte and the sushi chef makes really really good rolls. The inside is incredibly outdated, thus this place isn't what I call a formal upscale date place to go but if your date/friend can put down sushi and can appreciate good quality sushi, then this place definitely is a 5/5 for sushi. I once watched a table of people watching a soccer game on their ipads while enjoying the meal- very chill place. My husband and I super busy and despite it's incredibly slower wait time, it's worth it. It's one dude doing all of it - frying the agadashi tofu (very good btw), fried crab leg, and rolling the sushi. 25$ for an all you can eat ala carte sushi that you can check off the list. Comes with a thousand island type of salad and a miso soup.
