With the recent shutdown and the owner losing his liquor license, he sold it to new owners. The place is night and day now. Not a top 40 disco place any more. NO offense, but now a Porti Rican hang out now. They played their music till 15 minutes before the place closed and only then played some good music. They were so disorganized. Not going to go back anytime soon... ... recent shooting there clinched the deal. Need a new hangout....

Where do I start. Went there this Halloween since the new owners took over and this past Saturday the vibe was off not s good one to say the least.Attended Trio with the original owners ans that place was amazing how it was. Now with the new owners that place has attracted the wrong crowd. They no longer play a mix of music it is just one genre Reggaeton. I like all music but mix it up and satisfy all your customers not just one. Also why are we served drinks out of a plastic cup and not a real glass???? Hmm confused. I will never step in this place again especially after the violence that just occurred early this a.m. Would not recommend this place to anyone anymore.

Friday date night 12/08/23 ordered the steak (medium well) and chicken (well done) kabobs. Plate came out with the steak was well done and the chicken stuck on the stick looked like it could have gotten up and walked away. Asked for queso , out came nacho cheese. Our cups with our drinks were dirty.Vibes with the waitress was off she hardly came to check on us we waited a very long time for our check at the end. Terrible experience and I wouldn't feed my dog that food!

I requested a reservation for a party & catered food. I was told I would be called for an estimate never was called it was getting close to the the date I requested to reserve so I called them back and was finally given a estimate. They wanted $700-$800 I decided not to do the food as I didn't know how many people will actually come. But asked if I can order food as people come which they said yes they had no problem with making food as ordered. I still reserved a table which I was told you will have a long table towards the lounge area. The day arrived I came to check in. Where there was another party which took my reserved spot with the long table and lounge. The bartender/waitress said "sorry we didn't know there was going to be another party" as I already reserved and was told I would get this spot. They told 1 of my guest who was waiting for us at the bar that we did not call them to reserve a spot which was a lie. Because I was never called for an estimate I had to call them. They put tables together for our reservation as a last resort. Waitress was young and seemd new and shy/timid. We placed orders in. Requested shrimp pasta was then told we do not have any pasta. Then came back and said "unfortunately we do have pasta" not sure why she said "unfortunately" because we wanted pasta as our 1st choice. Ordered drinks they used paper cups. I asked for glass cup they said they don't have any but can clearly see customers at the bar had glass cups. Shot glasses were purchased from a dollar store using neon cups. Food was not good seemed as if they rushed cooking. Dj was horrible only played Spanish and hardcore hip hop music. Dj was asked multiple times to play some requested music but did not. No one was on the dance floor. The bartenders did not attend to customers orders. They were to busy taking shots drinking with there friends in the corner having it as there own get together party at the owners expense. Even the owners were not attentive. They grabbed a bottle sat at a table with there friends taking shots and smoking a hookah counting there money. Im glad i did not spend the $700-$800 for catered food knowing there service is horrible. This place has changed ever since new owners. This place is not professional just a play area for there friends and families to let wild. No sense of customer service. Definitely do not recommend for a place to go.

I’m just going to briefly describe how my experience from Trio was like a few weeks. Since the new owner it has gone down hill. We had dinner and they didn’t have pasta, then they did. Than serving rounds of drinks they gave us plastic cups cause they said they ran out of glass? The pizza was likely a slab of cheese and tomato on top. Service was not that great. The girl was sweet but you can tell she was new. The dj was not good at all he only played Spanish music even after people requested a mix of other songs. First time a dj did not play what the crowd wanted. No one on the dance floor.. I wonder why? I wouldn’t be surprised if this place closed. Sad to say cause I been coming to Trio for my bday for over 5-6 years. Not the same vibe.

So much has changed with this restaurant. The server was nice but could not recall what we ordered for drinks and did not have many wine selections. Our appetizer was served after we received dinner. Our dinners were not served together and were definitely not what was advertised. Also not what was ordered. The half lb burger was the same size as the slice of cheese. They did take 1/2 off the appetizer for being served after dinner.

Beyond dissapointment. Tried having a birthday here, came in to pick out food, wanted for a price. Called numerous times and kept being told they would have something for me...THEN after 2 weeks was told they were not taking on events. Very sketchy, and so happy I didn't put down the deposit yet!

food, service, and ambiance was AMAZING. I came here to celebrate my birthday with friends and we had a great time. They were able to accommodate our large party of 16 with no problem. Best restaurant & lounge ever!

Ive visited this place a few times (not my choice) in a group setting and have not had good experiences. The food is “alright”, service was “okay” and music was a little too loud for conversation. I got the chicken sandwich and it was a little dry, and I got an allergic reaction to something I ate (MSG). I also saw Monroe County has numberous health code violations here in the last year or so, so I would probably not eat their food again after reading them.

If you're thinking about ordering a mixed drink don't we tried different drinks different alcohol different bartenders and neither bartender knew how to make a decent drink! If you're going to drink here stick with beer or wine and that's not even that great of a selection! It's really funny because for the past 6 years I've been going here on and off trying it every once in awhile and now that they have new owners... I had high hopes guess what... same terrible drinks! The one thing about this place is that they used to play good music so that was always something to look forward to... went there tonight music was okay but not what it used to be. I always go there with hope and I always leave disappointed. I'm sure I'll try this place again sometime at least for the music and dancing! I didn't try food this time I saw food on people's plates it looks pretty good smelled okay so maybe I'll try dinner sometime who knows?! I say go at your own risk and good luck... don't say I didn't warn you!

The drinks are terrible, music sucks (DJ often plays the same outdated playlist and only the regular will occupy the dance floor), and they have the nerve to ask for a cover charge yet there's no crowd. Not to mention, the cover charge is cash only but they never advertised that there would be a cover charge on social pages. Food is mediocre. Not sure why they call themselves a Mexican restaurant- but I can say it's not authentic. I'm so disappointed with Trio, they have a lot of potential but often miss the mark.

Food was OK. Not good. Service was fair. It took awhile for the waitress to follow up for pretty much everything except the bill. They might have been short staffed. What I felt was weird was even though we were at a seated table we were charged per glass of soda ($3) for refills. The bill didn't have tax listed but did have an extra surcharge for not paying with cash. I'd only seen that at gas stations.

Used to frequent Trios a lot before the new owners took over. now after they reopened music is awful.. it’s only STRICTLY Spanish type music where as before it was rap, hip hop, 90s, etc.. and a lot more fun.. I mean, I don’t care if they throw some Spanish music in, but it has literally turned to ONLY Spanish music.. the last time we went there there was NOBODY on the dance floor. What DJ allows that? It really is a shame.. Can the previous owners please take over again?

First impression place is very nice; ambiance great music perfect. DJ was on fire. The young lady who was serving us it was her first day so I will give her all the grace. FOOD WAS ABSOLUTE TRASH. It was supposed to be seafood Mondays. I went because the menu looked so tempting specifically the "Fried Crab Legs" and " Hennessey Wings". I went with the Crab Legs and that was HUGE mistake. First of all our food was served to us in TOGO plastic containers wrapped up bagged and tied as if we were not dining in. I was immediately thrown; but the biggest surprise of all was the Fried Crab Legs were not even CRAB it was Imitation Crab; they were so salty I could not even eat them. I never thought to ask if the crab was real considering the other crab meals were " at market price" LOL . what a joke if your looking for a nice spot to drink and listen to music; Great. but avoid the food trust me.

Had a great time. First time going was a retirement party. Second time was the anniversary of Roc City Line Dancers. Both times were very enjoyable and they made sure that there was plenty of room for dancing.Parking: The parking is plenty of space and handicap and regular parking. Parking is right around the restaurant.
