It is worth moving to Rochester to go to Wegmans - and this where it all started for this amazing business. The store is well kept and the employees all seem like they love their jobs. Trust me, a take out dinner from the Wegmans Cafe is highly advised. So many options and all delicious.

Always shop this store. But making list for Christmas recipes & so many items are not available. Wow! First time in 50 years, I am unable to get products for family favorite recipes. Can’t believe it. Never, ever would I believe it impossible to find products I have purchased forever. Nothing exotic. Very sad!

At best, it's virtue signaling nonsense. it only served to drag us back into the tyranny we all had to endure over the last year.

The car I ordered should have costed no more than $10-15 not $25 because the cake was small and hardly any filing and cake was not moist. High way robbery like my Dad use to say.
Does not make people wear masks. Their own employees do not respect the cart length away rule and will stand right next to reaching across you to stock something. Bunch of stinking idiots.

As a native Rochesterian, I feel it's a bit heretical to give Wegmans anything less than 5 stars, but here's why I feel Wegmans is vastly overrated.After marrying my partner, who recently moved to Rochester from out-of-state, I've begun shopping at other stores like: Aldi, Trader Joes, Costco and, occasionally, Wal-Mart. In each of these stores, I am generally able to find groceries that are significantly less expensive than Wegmans, but at often no difference in quality (and, in many instances, superior quality).I also think that once Whole Foods comes to Rochester, Pittsford Wegmans will be in a tough situation. Whole Foods is not cheap - but I don't think it's more expensive than Wegmans. And certainly, their prepared foods tends to be much better than Wegmans in terms of taste, healthy options and even price (on a $/lb basis).Wegmans does have excellent customer service and an excellent selection of products, however, simply put, it is really expensive and a lot of their store-brand products are, in my opinion, not that great. And while I like the idea of being able to pop into a store and pick-up a prepared meal, I find their meals to be lacking in taste, quality and/or nutrition, but to constantly be getting more and more expensive. The idea of paying restaurant prices for sub-restaurant quality food is unappetizing. I always like to support local businesses when I can, but I find it harder and harder to pay Wegmans' prices when other nearby stores offer better value.
