Came here on St Pattys day, after being in the city all day... this was a great causal place to hang out. Atmosphere was fun and relaxing. We sat in the back near the kitchen, and ate some of the best wings in Rochester. Affordable food and drinks, lots of different beers available. We enjoyed a bit of everything... maybe a few delicious shots too! Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Great spot down on lake ave near the water. Parking is across the street, but there a small parking lot nearby.

Family and I went on a whim to enjoy some really great bar food and drinks. I can't remember the name of the waitress, unfortunately, but she was one of the sweetest people we've met. She went and got my 4 yo daughter coloring books and crayons to keep her entertained and we were all so happy enjoying our meal and drinks. I haven't seen my daughter eat so much and experiment with food!Thank you Windjammers for making our first night in Rochester the best.

I went there for the night before my birthday to get the wings and fried pickles!! And their margarita.. I purchased 3 different flavors harbor, sweet Canadian, and a sweet suace!! They were all good!! My daughter loved the wings, too!! The owner is fantastic he over came sat next to me saying happy birthday as well as a great conversation! I recommend it. It's far but worth the ride
Believe it or not this was my first visit to Windjammer's. My friends have been raving about their wings for a long time. So did I order wings? No. My wife and I met another couple for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We got there at 1 o'clock and we were the first table to sit down. But by the time we left it was pretty full. It's a nice cozy bar with some good food. Sorry about no pictures because I was so hungry that I ate it. My wife ordered the New England clam chowder and a tunafish sandwich and the sandwich was so huge. She only ate half of it! I got the Windjammer Fil-A sandwich, which is a fried chicken sandwich with pickles and a sauce like a Chick-fil-A. My sandwich was excellent. Especially when I put some of the wing sauce that my buddy had ordered for his tots on the sandwich. So I guess I ended up eating their wing sauce anyway. As I said, it's a cozy place with good food at a reasonable price. You can't ask for much more nowadays.

Host is gracious, their chicken pineapple sandwich is good and their chicken cordon bleu was ok.
Felt very comfortable there. Bartender was very knowledgeable on various drinks from martigras. It was fat Tuesday, btw. And food smelt amazing. I didn't get anything, but I plan on going back once the weather is better. I'll be sure to update my review once I do.
