Everyone there is nice and hardworking and except for Tony. He constantly raises the prices of the food sold there and he made the food a little too fast causing it to be rather cold. A good deli but Tony brings it down.

The big guy named tony Likes to changed the prices for his customers. I came to the deli and witnessed him charge someone $4 more for the same items that I purchased. The food is good and has a nice flavor but the customer service is really bad. All of the workers besides tony are really nice and welcoming

Rockaway bites is BADDDDD, when I order a bangonegGcheseeonaroll my bacon is raw. I bought ice cream he gave me a fork. I have to beg from Abdul for a fork and he charged me $12 for wings and fries when its usually $9. like if your broke just say that. he sounds autistic and makes noises like lalalalalla and dingalinginling when I walk in the deli. He called me the n word multiple times and snatched my money OUT OF MY HANDS.The fat guy accused me of stealing stuff worth $20!!! first of all stfu why would I steal from you, I know you are broke but don't project that negativity and embarrassment onto your loyal customers. Take your buisness elsewhere because the fat guy treated me so bad and eats all the food so that there's none for us.The only reason why the fat guy does this is because he wants to eat the sandwiches for himself bc he obviously doesn't get fed at home and that's why he's obese. The skinny guy is so much better and nicer. AND THE GIRL AND GUY WHO ARE CHEFS (NOT THE WHITE ONE MY BACON WAS STILL MOVING) are such amazing people, my food is always so good whenever I see them and get food from them. What an amazing find. The mood, the service, the menu. Every single thing was fresh, flavorful, and very delicious. Bonus that their service is so fantastic, they are so swift and welcoming. Will definitely be back to try other items.

Under new management and/or ownership, Rockaway Bites has stepped up. Tony, the cook, is my favorite sandwich maker in town. All of his dishes (salads, chicken, etc) are consistently fresh and tasty. Service is back on par since not only are they efficient, they are friendly. I stopped going for about a year, but I'm back because it's convenient, affordable and pleasant.
