I come to this establishment often and never have a bad experience. my most recent visit was terrible. My waitress, Patricia was very snotty and I felt very rushed while I was eating . She kept asking if I was done and she got my order wrong. The food and service is always consistent at night but I brought a friend with me who had never been here before and we were appalled at the lack of service on a weekend .

If you are going for appetizers, some beers, and to watch a game, then this is the place for you. However, if you intend to grab a full meal, I would highly suggest against it. We have been coming here for almost 20 years. Since we have moved away, this was one of our go-to places when we were in town (at least 2 times a year). The food quality has been slowly going downhill, and this past Saturday night was the last straw and inexcusable. Let me first start off that our waitress Bella was absolutely a rock star, and in no way does this review affect her. She was apologetic and a true professional. We had a party of 13, so there was a variety of things ordered, and I will admit the group had children to fossils, and Bella handled it all like a champ. Drinks came out fast. Appetizers consisted of wings, both on the bone and boneless, a pretzel, and some mozzarella sticks. They were done perfectly. Now, the bad, not one single person enjoyed their main dishes, every single person made a comment. My daughter absolutely hated the sheppard's pie, a dish she ordered quite often at other places and cleans her plate. She left 90% of it and said it was disgusting. My sister in laws grilled chicken salad was chewy and gross, and the same goes for the chunks of chicken in the pot pie my brother in law had. My father in law had a burger that he said was tasteless, and this man will eat anything and never complain. My nephew was also unimpressed with his burger to the point that they decided not to order one to go for his brother. My wife, myself, and my other brother in law all ordered the steak sandwich. All 3 came out cold to warm along with cold fries. They re-made mine, and after 1 bite, I threw in the towel as the meat literally took 30 seconds to chew it, and I had ordered it medium. It was just poor quality. Lucky for me, that I did because both my wife and brother in law got sick. As stated earlier, Bella did take multiple things off the 500+ dollar check, but after so many misses in the past and this, they have lost not only my wife, kid, and I as customers, they have lost my wife's entire family who are locals. It is a shame as this was one of my old stomping grounds. I'll go for a beer and wings, which are still solid, but they need to address the quality of food and possible kitchen staff issues, or they will lose more business.

Love croxley's wings. They are our go to spot. My husband is loyal to the fireman burger and cry like a baby wings. Always reliable for a good dinner. Decor is rustic pub vibe. Nice low key hang out.

Sandwich had thin piece of chicken on it . Burgers are good/ spinach dip is good ! Was there for my birthday (was better then ), and went back for another birthday on Friday and disappointed with hostess seating us in back dark corner which we switched back to our other table we were at. She was annoyed and slammed down menus. Like the place, but disappointed this time in service and quantity of food.

Usually there during the day and usually see Christine who is the best. Food is exceptionally good for a local pub and the menu is pretty extensive. When we come in for dinner, there are a number of ladies who have been there for a while and always take good care of us. Great Salads, Burgers, and of course Wings.

Had 3 beers, 2 of which were flat and 1 they brought the wrong thing, which was fine. When I got the bill however the wrong beer that I didn’t order was double the price, and when I pointed it out to the waitress she said no problem we can change it, but then the manager sent her back out making me pay for it “because I drank it”.
Got sick from the food. I eat 1 meal per day. Don't know what happened. Had a cheeseburger, fries, and wings (mild).

Don’t bother coming here. Service was horrible !!!! The waitress took our order and we never saw her again. My husband had to get up 3 times.. once to order another drink and another time to ask for the check and then again to pay the bill since no one came back to run the credit. We would have ordered way more drinks if we got offered.

The service here was terrible. Our original server left and didn't tell us or introduce the new server on the shift. We were just waiting around trying to order more beer after our initial round. My friend ordered wings & a beer after. He got his food but no beer. He asked again & it took another 25 min to get the beer. When we wanted the check, it took around 30 min to get it and then we had to bring it to the waitress at the POS system cause we were tired of waiting. It seemed like there were only 2 servers on shift when there was football and a ufc fight. Not ok for the customers or the servers. I'd never return here.

I've always been meaning to post reviews but to be honest laziness and being a pain to sign up always deterred me. Plus people will with agree or disagree with the review so to me it almost seems pointless, I go somewhere because I want to not because of a yelp review but I finally think a review is warranted. Myself, husband and two sons frequent Croxleys in RVC usually at least once a week. 90% of the time we have Christine (she usually works M-F days). She is truly amazing and last night solidified that for us. She was very busy with almost a full dining room plus training a new waitress yet she still had time to engage with us like normal, she didn't even break a sweat or even seemed overwhelmed. We even talked to the table next to us and they were so impressed with her they said they would come back just for her. She always has my wine and the kids drinks ready as she greets us, because we never change what we drink and She always knows what IPAs my husband would like and actually tells him when not to order something she doesn't think he will, which is most appreciated, we love the honesty. The beers she recommends are always fresh and unique. My kids get their food with our apps, and then we order our entrees afterwards. We never feel rushed, a lot of other servers are constantly harassing us to order. We watched her last night she was going table to table taking orders not writing anything down then checking on other tables and engaging in conversations before ringing in the orders, she has some kind of amazing talent with her memory. Whoever they have in the kitchen is 5 star also. No matter how busy they are the food come out hot, fresh and timely. We pretty much have had everything on the menu except dessert because we are too full from the drinks and food. If you get a salad opt for the blackened chicken instead of plain grilled, its really tasty, and the giant pretzel is hot and buttery, pure deliciousness! We sometimes go on weekends when she is not working (but we always ask for her because she does work weekends sometimes) and it is not the same! Nobody knows anything about the beers, the bartender can never find them, and the service is not the same. I feel every time we go there on other days everyone is always new and totally lost. I wish I owned a restaurant so I could recruit her! Please if you go ask for Christine, you will not be disappointed!

Food was absolute trash! Ordered from here in past, food USED to be good but, just keeps falling off a cliff year after year. Ordered the fish and chips and onion rings off Uber, it got here cold and tasted like they took the frozen box of fish and fries all the way in the back of freezer and threw them in fryer…nasty works
