“We were visiting family and we ended up finding this place. Don't let the exterior fool you. The food was fenomenal. So good, there was no time for pictures. Mac and cheese was our favorite. Yams were so delicious and sweet, I'm craving as I'm writing. Fish and chicken flavor were also great. I read some reviews about their service and I have to completely disagree. They were super friendly and helpful. They let us try samples of the food and super welcoming. Also, easy to find parking! I highly recommend.“
“The steamed seafood meals are excellent. Great taste and a large quantity. The icing on the cake is the fact that it's so healthy. On another note, if you like fried fish, this is the place. “These guys are great. They fry the fish right there in front of you. Always so fresh. The $5 fish sandwiches are a real steal and Im pretty sure the tarter sauce is homemade! Super clean spot. “Love going to Bigelows i’m sitting at the bar the experience is great watching the staff freshly batter seafood and putting it right in the fryer right in front of you. The New England clam chowder is like no other. It is very delicious and creamy the perfect consistency for clam chowder. Definitely the best around the Ipswich fried clams are my go to favorite. They are fried to perfection and very clean oil which makes the food very good because the oil is always clean that they cook in. The people that work at Bigelow’s are great. Always welcoming and fun to hang out with by the bar while you eat your delicious seafood, no matter what you get I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area and you love seafood, you will not get any fresher!! Always leave happy and full from delicious FRESH seafood!!! 10/10“
