The food was excellent, and the service was very good. It's a very nice atmosphere. We had a great family dinner that would have been perfect. And then the bill came, and they charged 3.5% for using a credit card. It ruined the experience. That is the cost of running a business. You don't pass that on to your customers, especially for a higher-end restaurant that has already built markups into the food specials and alcohol prices. It really soured what was a wonderful night up until then and just made the management look very cheap. Don't expose your customers to that or put it on them.

It is the most complete gluten-free menu of Italian favorites. Sauce is great. Everything we've ordered has been very good. Never get bored because there are so many choices. If they could work on the bread, they would have everyone fouled. The servers can be a little laxed at times on bringing parmesian cheese.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free

This is a lovely restaurant, nice atmosphere, and wonderful service. I would love to give it a 5 star rating, but was very disappointed by the food I ordered, Fettuccine Alla Selva. The fettuccine was perfectly cooked, and there were plenty of mushrooms, but the garlic totally overpowered the dish. I would have liked the mushrooms and the truffle to be complimented by the garlic, instead their flavors were lost. The Cesar Salad was very good, although I would have liked to have had the option to order a smaller size salad, but that was not a big issue at all.Having said all that, I would go back at some point and try something different, just not the Fettuccine

Food is very expensive for what you get. We got the calamari was enough for one person-maybe 2. Nineteen dollars for an appetizer for that price is crazy. I had the salmon and it was dry and it came with a dollop of spinach-thirty two dollars-crazy. Someone else had the chicken parm and the other pasta with mushrooms. It was okay but, not outstanding for the price. Some others at our table thought their food was great. I guess to each their own. The service was great and the ambiance is fine. It is a small restaurant.

I got the gluten free fettuccine and added chicken, it was amazing. The service was amazing, I forgot my waiters name and the ambiance was cool. Definitely recommend.

We felt that San Remo was not up to its usual standards. We were seated next to a very large table and conversation was challenging. The food and service was fair. My husband said the lasagna tasted like cardboard. On a positive note; San Remo is very attentive to gluten free and Celiac.

We love San Remo. Never had a meal that disappoints in years of dining. Bolognese like your Nonna makes. The fish (branding, sole etc) always exceptional. Service is professional and friendly

Restaurant week menu dinner date night. Our first time here and the food was excellent. Apps were stuffed clams and burrata -omg so good. My entree was stuffed sole, boyfriend had Pork Chop. Finished it up with cheesecake! We were full and very happy ESPECIALLY bc EVERYTHING can be made gluten free! They even label it all. Amazing! Restaurant week experience was excellent. Went early and was sat immediately, every table was taken from start to finish and I have to say it's a good sign.

The gluten-free choices are terrific, with great flavor and nice portions. The staff are very nice and professional. The non-gluten-free items are also excellent, so this is a place everyone can enjoy.

I would recommend this restaurant if you have time to wait for your reservation, I had a 7:30 reservation no one came over to speak to me until 8:20, I don't understand the point of offering a reservation if it's not available, once seated, all was well, we had a delicious bottle of Pinotand our pasta was delicious!! Great value!

We spent $85 dollars for take out delivery and the food was so little. The flavor was terrible. Won’t go here.

San Remo is a nice Italian restaurant in Rockville Center with a nice selection of Italian dishes. It's also got a gluten free menu if that's something that you like. Overall, I would say its an enjoyable place.
