The sushi here is REALLY good-- I wolfed down a Sexy Roll that consisted of shrimp tempura, salmon, scallops and spicy mayo-- OMGoodness! I'm going back for more♡(Love the seating [booths] in the front of the restaurant.)Parking: If you know anything about Rockville Centre-- it is no more than a HUGE parking lot with a plethora of establishments that are merely planted around/within it. We got luck and were able to secure a space on Park Avenue a few hundred feet from the restaurant. Be prepared to drive around the area a few times before finding a suitable spot.

Don't recommend, pretty sad roll with no care for presentation whatsoever. Server was nice but the food quality is not up to par.

The ramen is hands down the worst ramen I’ve ever had. Flavorless yet at the same time disgusting. Both me and my wife threw out the entire soup. The place also looks dirty. We won’t be coming back ?

My boyfriend and I' s favorite sushi place. Literally ordering right now as I speak. It has a nice scenery on the inside. The customer service is amazing. It doesn't take too long to get your food either. The food is always fresh in the restaurant and even when you order it from an online delivery service such as DoorDash or Uber eats. Definitely would recommend the food is good!

5 stars for the food!!! Fresh and delicious. You have to try rainbow roll… The young guy is very kind and friendly. People from kitchen the best !!! But the girl who is in the counter is rude, I understand not always we have a good day but we are paying for the service too.

Competition is a plenty with numerous other sushi restaurants in Rockville Centre but this one has stood the test of time. From it's inception on Merrick Rd (current location of La Bottega) to now in the heart of Park Avenue (across from the movie theater) this restaurant delivers on taste and quality. Here you will not find a modern decorated restaurant with a beat and cocktail menu longer than the special roll list (just beer and wine served). Instead, this no frills traditional decorated sushi bar with wood accents and authentic art scattered throughout puts food quality and customer satisfaction at the top of the list. Sushi Ya has maintained substantial portions and fresh fish throughout plenty of adversity over the years. The oldest sushi restaurant in Rockville Centre stays current with a big list of special rolls featuring numerous dragon rolls and a roll for named for every month of the year. Owned by a small family trying to make ends meet they are always very appreciative of my business and I am happy to support them. Great for take-out as well if you can navigate the parking situation (lot and entrance in the back). Sushi Ya has been my top choice for sushi in the area for many years.

Great food that hasn’t change over the years! Very inexpensive. Fast and great service. Frozen mug for the beer is rare to find

The absolute worst sushi I have ever had. Ate one piece and gagged. Couldn't even eat it. And they are overly priced for the low grade quality food that they are selling. Better off just ordering from Kashi for a few extra bucks

Rice was soft but gummy, loaded in sesame so all I tasted was that. My California roll had no crab meat, and they forgot the lunch special came with a salad. Service wasnt that great either, I felt awkward asking for things or correcting them. I couldn't finish my roll, so I guess you can say it was at least filling.
