This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a very long time. The Server was dismissive(never gave eye contact) and seemed upset for us just to be there, and gave us the notion that we needed to be quick to order. Food was even worse. I had the chow fun which was literally just a pile of oil and grease. My wife had the sesame chicken which wasn't cooked through. We shared some sushi which wasn't fresh at all. I usually finish my plate even if I don't like it as much(how I was raised) but after 2 bites I spit it out. Most of the food wasn't edible. The only thing was the decor was decent.

FAST FAST FAST delivery wowww…. Love how you can pay by card when the delivery driver arrives cause he has a machine u can tip on there too. Fresh delicious sushi my mouth is watering thinking about the tuna and salmon sushi I had. Tooo good. California roll so good, miso soup so good I get extra seaweed in mine they perfected my order. I just recently moved to RVC & i can assure that this will be my new spot from now on. Thank you wild ginger !

My mom raved about this restaurant, so I went with her and another relative. We ordered soup, spring rolls and sushi to share as appetizers and also entrees. I wish the restaurant would space out the appetizers and the entrees so we could enjoy each one versus feeling rushed because everything was coming out at once. The sushi was good, the raw fish was very fresh. The rolls were falling apart though, which I don’t like. Now the food/entrees were not good. I ordered general tso chicken and it tasted dry. It had good flavor, but I suspect it was leftover from lunchtime. My son enjoyed his fire sometime meal. I like the seafood that was offered in it, but not the lemongrass flavor. I wish they offered a different seasoning/flavor. What turned me off is that the $27 entree didn’t come with soup or salad. I have never eaten at an Asian restaurant that didn’t offer a ginger salad with the meal. The entrees only come with a small bowl of white or brown rice and they charged $1.75 each for extra rice. I saw another reviewer mention that they nickel and dime by charging $.50 for soy and duck sauce. I totally felt similar, they’re all about the money. It was definitely a one time try for me; $140 gone down the drain. I don’t mind spending money on good food, but what I received, minus the sushi wasn’t any better than corner store Asia takeout.

I visited Wild Ginger on March 10th. The portion size is decent and the ambience is decent. The reason why I gave one Star is due to the poor customer service. I felt rushed felt so rushed that I had to look at the time from my reservation to the time they brought me the check and it was 47 minutes. To add insult to injury we gave the waiter cash expecting him to bring back the change so we can leave the tip. They took the entire amount of money and we had to request our change back after they didn't return so we could leave a tip. The same rude waiter came back about 5 to 7 minutes later to collect the tip off the table and we were still sitting down. Wild Ginger you have to do better.

Wild Ginger has become my favorite place for sushi, other then run of the mill Chinese food, great duck prepared many ways. The service is truly beyond excellent as you are immediately greeted by the manager Kumar. The staff work well together and with each other to see to the wants and needs of the patrons. My favorite wait staff who I have become very familiar with is Joe, Jess, and Nicole. I can go on raving about the Wild Ginger restaurant but tasting and seeing is believing.

We have eaten at this restaurant previously. It was so enjoyable that we decided to go there to celebrate my friend's birthday. We ordered one beef entree and one shrimp entree as well as a kani salad. The food was delicious. I told the waitress it was my friend's birthday. She treated us like royalty, even bringing us a plate of cake with ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate syrup and a candle on top! She even sang Happy Birthday. We will surely return.

Don't make a reservation on open table for here they won't honor it. They told me we don't use open table anymore and that its going to be 30-35 minutes for a table. The host at the front took my name and number and said he would text me when my table would be ready.I never got a message so we just ended up leaving and going to the Rutledge instead. Which BTW has great food and atmosphere. I've never eaten here before and that still remains unchanged. Also the host never smiled once while talking to us. He was very monotone and sounded like he didn't care. My grandmother asked him if he thought it was ok for people to be driving 30 minutes to come to a restaurant only to be told that we won't honor the reservation you made and he responded with “the management is aware”. Well if they aware I feel like they would take the ability to make a reservation away or ask OpenTable to take them off their roster. At that point it might be down to laziness?♂️.

Has a large variety of food. Would have like to see more traditional Asian dishes. Very heavy on the sushi dishes. We tried several dishes, the red curry, eggplant with pork, beef with broccoli, appetizers and soups (hot&sour). All were wonderfully prepared. The was a very mild amount of heat. Flavors were balanced very well. Definitely will return.
