Denny’s, an American standard. Looking for a late morning breakfast, we knew we’d find it there. Waitress brought coffee and took our order quickly, but we waited nearly 30 minutes for our food and the place was pretty empty. Sticky table was rather off-putting, too. But the food was good, the waitress was sweet, and water and a napkin took care of the table.

Now dennys, in general, is a large food chain. But the rome location is a bit rough. The food isn't always great. It's almost as if they hire people that can't cook. Everything comes out cold if you order pickup.

Complete belligerent scum. A friend of mine went in to pick up a delivery order. He asked about the order and 2 female employees started screaming at him, harassing him, and threatening him. He called his employer and reported it. He then tried to call the store manager to report what had happened, and got threatened by her, as well. His employer is conducting a discrimination investigation into the incident and the Denny’s Franchisee (Gills Group) has been notified as well. Hopefully they will clean house of some nasty employees. In the meantime, don’t order from here, they don’t deserve your business.Edit: My friend has also notified the City of Rome Public Safety Commissioner regarding the belligerent, unwarranted harassment and threats.

On New Year's Day we had a bad experience at the Oneida Denny's so we went over to the Rome Denny's where we were promptly seated and given menus and waited on. And it seemed not to take very long for us to get our food either. Our food was good & there was nothing wrong. I had the T-bone steak with red skin potatoes, vegetable medley and corn.

This place is big!! Great customer service and the food is very good. Reasonably priced. Veggie omelette tested amazing along with the moons over my hammy.

I'd leave 0 stars if i could. First time I was here 5.16.23 it was bad. Tried it again when we were in town this past weekend.9pm on a Saturday. Party of 6. There was 4 other tables seated. Nothing bigger then a 4top. 2 tables left within 10 minutes of us getting there. Ordered our drinks, forgot 2 of our drinks...no big deal. Ordered again. 35 minutes later we watched our sit on the counter for an additional 7-10 minutes even after saying something. Food was cold and mostly not correct. I ordered BBQ boneless with blue cheese ended up getting a grandslam wich even after saying my order 2x the first time i ordered. 2nd time i ordered i said it 2x again. Hash browns were 1/2 frozen, and 2 plates looked like someone took a fork full out of the center. Multiple people walked out or told the manager they werent paying. Our table paid. The 4top behind us waited 45 minutes for a skillet. It was so chaotic in there for how few customers there were inside. 15 years traveling for work and as a former cook/ waiter/manager at a BUSY Friendly's, I wouldn't recommend this place unless you were desperate for late night food you couldn't get anywhere else. I have never seen such a disorganized crew anywhere in my life. The cook when he got an order was in full panic mode as if the dishwasher was stuck being the cook for the night and had no clue what to do. This review really coincides with others written.

I decided to take my two grandsons to Dennys for their Birthday since they have always enjoyed going there . I noticed on their menu board that they were offering a turkey dinner with all the trimmings . Since that is a favorite of mine I knew that would be my choice. Upon being seated the waitress took our orders and brought our beverages. It was at this point things started going wrong . There were two other tables being waited on. The staff was heavily involved in conversation. After an hour of waiting the meals were brought to our booth. My daughter had ordered a side salad which was forgotten. That was then brought with an apology. My daughter commented to me that her onion rings were cold but she couldn't get wait staff to notice us. It was then that I glanced down at my meal and noticed that the turkey was burnt to a crisp and looked like dry beef rather than Turkey. The corn served looked like it had been setting out for a while and there was any cranberry sauce. I waited for staff to return to the booth to check if we wanted anything else. 45 mins later she returned to see if we needed any thing else. I then told her the turkey dinner was terrible and her response was "Oh I'm so sorry " nothing more. Not a single offer to replace or correct. Because I didn't want to ruin the day for my grandsons I said nothing more. At checkout they were having problems and I stood there for another ten minutes before paying. I debated on not leaving a tip given the poor service but against my good judgment gave 15 percent. I spent Over 101.00 dollars for one of the worse meal experience in a long time. I debated out making this review but three days later I am still upset that there was no offer to correct the terrible meal. So very disappointing.

Listen the food is pretty good ok...the gravy is as thin as water...thats just whatever.the morning is the start of the day....those carpets...the runners should be vacumed instead of left dirty from the night before. that sets the stage, so to speak.the management should be more conscious about the flies. that really stands out when you sit down and flies are all around you.the restroom should be freshened up from time to time....spray something in there that smells good...i know its kinda open to the public, but it still counts.
