Great selections; beyond friendly staff; and most importantly - delicious bagels.Bagels were crispy-toasty on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and with the perfect amount of everything seasoning to coat. Used to eat here every Saturday and Sunday years ago. Went there on Sunday after many years that I had moved out of the neighborhood. Cold dried up bagel with tasteless cream cheese. A disaster for 5 dollars.

Corner spot, parking in the back but also parking on the street available. Small spot but the service and delivery of food is really quick. Fresh bagels, delicious bagels. I love bagel and I’d consider myself a bagel tester lol. Ice coffee was fresh and great as well.

I think this place is a front for money laundering cuz there's no way this is a serious bagelry that can pay its rent. Where's Barbara anyway? I don't know what that last reviewer was on giving this place five stars. The bagels lacked flavour. The ambience lacked, well, everything. It's unclear if this place is still in business from the outside. Inside, no one could understand what 'buhtah', pronounced in a British accent, meant.
Fantastic bagel! Had a sesame bagel with Lox cream cheese. Real decent price and the staff was extremely personable and kind. Great place for breakfast sandwiches and bagels.

$4.00 (cash) for a 20oz. Bottle of Diet Coke and a cup of ice is just highway robbery. I would love be to able to support local but it’s hard to when you know you are being taken advantage of. Would never step foot in this place again knowing how I was ripped off.

Barbara's bagels was such a a wonderful surprise. We are headed out of town after a wedding and I needed a lox bagel. Hubby (pictured) found Barbara's bagels on a quick Google search. Walking in you can definitely tell this is where the locals go. The owner? Manager? Is super friendly and knows regulars by name. I got lox and scallion cream cheese on everything and hubby got a bacon egg and cheese on sesame. He said it was the best bagel sandwich he's ever had! We both got delicious iced coffee. The bagels are big and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. My one wish is that they had capers on the lox bagel. When we come to our next long island wedding we will definitely be stopping at Barbaras bagels!
