“My son is a customer at Neil's and he buys for me whatever I need. If Neil has doubts or questions regarding to what I'm looking for he will call me to discuss. Neil will make suggestions according to what's beneficial to me. Will lose a sale if it's not beneficial. If something is not in stock or he doesn't carry an item Neil usually will order it. A friend of mine from the Queens-Brooklyn border likes Neil's a lot and stops into the store every time she visits.“
“Pretty solid quality food and prepped just the way I like. Chicken is well seasoned but not over done, lamb is cut into fine pieces. Pita was nice and fresh.There are more options than the standard chicken and rice.It was my first time here so I hope the quality is consistent unlike most halal carts I frequent.“

“Juice & Gems hands down tops my list of Black owned small businesses!! I come in once a week to purchase patties. The staff comprised of family is ALWAYS extremely kind and warm towards myself, my son and my mom. The patties are always crisped to perfection and the filling … ? chef’s kiss! There are other places I have had delicious vegan patties from but I choose to come here weekly because of their treatment. Customer service is of extreme importance to me & they’ve got that down. My only problem is that I haven’t, yet, expanded my palette to try out some of their other food options. I will and be back her to review!“
“Thought the food was good! Solid portion, hit the spot. Vegetarian bowl was $12 which is a little steep but typical for the neighborhood. I got their fall bowl which was delicious but wished the cauliflower was a little more seasoned. I would definitely come back here though!The woman with red braids who brought me my food was pleasant and friendly—didn’t get her name, whoops! The workers were attentive and also focused on making the orders efficiently.“
